Mon séjour à Mali Mrak a été incroyable ! Igor est si accueillant et serviable (et très drôle). L'auberge a un charme incroyable et on peut dire qu'elle a connu tant d'histoires. Elle a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un excellent séjour. Les autres clients étaient très amicaux et les corvées étaient plutôt faciles. Merci pour tout ;)

J’ai vécu une expérience vraiment géniale à l’auberge ! L’auberge en elle-même dégage une sensation si magique, le jardin est une oasis et, pour ne rien gâcher, Igor est un hôte incroyable ! L’auberge attire des gens si intéressants que vous ne vous ennuierez jamais ; de plus, Igor a un guide incroyable avec de nombreux endroits secrets, moins touristiques ;) Le travail est aussi très raisonnable :) je ne peux pas recommander cet endroit assez ; je chérirai cette expérience pour toujours, tellement profondément !

Mon expérience à l'auberge a été merveilleuse. Le travail était organisé chaque jour pour que vous sachiez à quelles heures vous deviez être là, puis vous aviez tout le jour pour explorer et faire ce que vous voulez ! Il a tant de caractère et Igor est tout simplement incroyable. Il prend vraiment soin de vous et vous vous sentez vraiment soutenu(e) pendant que vous êtes là. C’est proche du centre et dans un quartier très sûr, même pour sortir le soir en tant que femme voyageant seule ! C’est l’endroit parfait pour se ressourcer et explorer Zagreb. L’auberge elle-même, les gens et l’atmosphère sont tout simplement adorables. Je le recommanderais sans hésiter à toute personne cherchant une escapade facile et détendue !

If you want to meet with lots of international travelers while being in a cozy and cool environment and giving back to the community through small and easy tasks, go to the hostel!! I stayed for 1 month, and it was definitely a unique and growing experience I would like to recommend to anyone I love. This was my first volunteering, and Igor and Konrad were very kind, they explain everything and they are always here if needed. the hostel is a special place where you feel like home, and it attracts as special guests. So if you still hesitate, simply don't :))))

Igor is generous, open minded and no bullshat. I really enjoyed my stay here, there were lots to do around the area and only a short commute to the city centre. Cleaning the bathrooms and making the beds were a very small commitment for a lovely experience. If you can take direction, have initiative and are open, I'd recommend this. Igor lays it to you straight, gives healthy guidance and feedback and it's very simple work, and easy to do well for a good time, and great company. Thank you Igor & Co. for a fantastic stay, I hope to visit again in the future!!

The hostel felt like home since the first moment. Well located, quiet and cozy place. Igor is a generous man and responsible for creating a chill and respectful vibe in the house. My whole experience in Zagreb has been great mostly thanks to these legends.

I don't want to write a good review because if I do so, I'm afraid this place gets popular and I won't be able to come back... But I can't help it! I never would have expected that it would be so wonderful. From the place itself to Igor and Konrad and the other volunteer. It's a home, a beautiful home painted from top to bottom, full of books, drawings and notes from lots of guests over the years that underscores my words. Doing the bathrooms, the dishes and beds, wasn't a big deal compared with what I gained by being here. I felt more in home than at mine. That's what I learnt about myself.

I had a great experience, i found everything i was looking for at the hostel. Learning English, improve my communication skills and autonomy for the very first time away from home. The task were easy, and i think that anyone can do them, just with right amount of respect, responsibility and attention. Igor and Konrad were very polite, respectful and funny at the same time. I really recommend it if you are looking for these kind of experiences.

It had a wonderful atmosphere, everyone was friendly and open. The tasks were manageable and didn't take as long as stated. Igor and Konrad we're always fair and correct towards me. There was a downside: another volunteer crossed my physical boundaries and didn't stop when asked him to. It wasn't sexual, but I don't like being constantly touched by someone I don't know or trust, and he didn't respect that. This experience ruined almost all of my stay, made me feel vulnerable, and disgusted with both myself and him. I would recommend the hostel, just not with the volunteer(s) at that time.

Simone, des choses comme ça doivent m'être signalées immédiatement, ce n'est pas bien que je l'apprenne après ton départ, et maintenant c'est trop tard. Je vais toutefois recommander un très bon remède pour l'avenir : si tu décides de garder ce genre de choses pour toi avec des types qui continuent de t'importuner de la sorte, voici ce que tu fais : un bon coup de pied dans les testicules et tu verras comme ils vont vite se calmer.
Prends soin de toi et tout le meilleur.
