Superbe expérience avec l'école la plus mignonne. Le personnel enseigne l'anglais niveau par niveau et vous permet de participer à différentes approches d'orthographe et de prononciation qui maintiennent les enfants engagés et qui leur donnent envie d'apprendre

Malheureusement, je n'ai jamais eu la chance de faire cette expérience. Cet hôte m'a laissé sans nouvelles le jour de mon arrivée. La date était fixée, l'hôte et moi avions bien communiqué sur l'obtention de mon visa, du billet de bus, etc. Ma date d'arrivée convenue, je leur ai envoyé un message le matin pour dire que j'étais en route depuis le Vietnam. Pas de réponse. Cinq messages tout au long de la journée, pas de réponse. Je n'avais nulle part où aller à Phnom Penh. Dangereux, à mon avis. Le lendemain, l'hôte m'a écrit à midi pour demander quand j'enregistrerais mon arrivée. Pas d'excuses, pas d'explication. Une façon étrange de traiter quelqu'un, à mon avis. On dirait qu'ils ne voulaient pas de moi, donc je ne suis pas allé.

Comme le personnel est incroyablement aimable et sympathique, il y a de bonnes raisons de venir ici. De plus, l'école est enthousiaste et désireuse d'interagir avec moi. Mais j'espérais tout de même que ce serait plus interactif. J'étais généralement plus assis en classe que impliqué. De plus, il aurait été pratique d'avoir des couverts et des assiettes. Mais cela vaut tout de même le détour ! Merci !

This was by far my favourite teaching experience to date. The children are well looked after, eager to learn and a joy to teach. Happy, bright little souls with beautiful hearts. I miss them already! Fede's dedication to her work is inspiring and she is a wonderful lady to meet and know. The other teachers are also friendly and eager to engage. Be sure to try the fried tarantulas near the Walk Street event!

My time at AKA has been nothing short of incredible. The school has taught me so much and in ways I have never imagined. Ive not only gotten the chance to make meaningful connections with the students but I also had the opportunity to get to know the teachers who foster such a positive and inspiring Atmosphere for the children everyday. Thank you to teacher Fede for making me feel welcome and at home both in the school and in the accommodation. I also want to express my deep appreciation to all the teachers especially teacher Darin, Vord, Dalin and sokhchea for making me feel welcome.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the school. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and genuinely love the school. The students are so bright and have a genuine love for learning. I'm grateful that I was able to contribute to the school and still have time to explore Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. I can't believe how fast my month and a half went by! Thank you to the teachers, students, and staff. I will never forget my experience at the school!

Me recibieron con los brazos abiertos y me explicaron muy bien todo lo que tenía que hacer, los niños son muy educados y majos. Tuve un problema de salud y el equipo directivo lo entendió perfectamente. Lo recomiendo completamente.

I loved my experience as a volunteer. I love children so spending time with them was the best part of this experience.Other teachers are very nice and many of them can really help you in gaining new skills when it comes to working with the school. The house was great, everything functioned and it is very near the school. The food was also great, i had lunch at school and i loved it. The breakfast i had snacks and coffee because that is what i asked for and what i prefer. Thank you very much for this nice experience! :D

Mon partenaire et moi avons eu un logement confortable, du personnel aimable et une nourriture décente. Le WiFi était censé être inclus avec notre hébergement. Malgré de multiples promesses, il n'a jamais été fourni. La plupart des étudiants étaient gentils. Cependant, des problèmes de comportement graves — tels que des attouchements inappropriés et des coups fréquents — n'ont pas été résolus. Le problème principal était la santé : une enseignante a déclaré qu'elle avait la tuberculose et est retournée au travail alors qu'elle était contagieuse. Malgré avoir exprimé des préoccupations concernant la sécurité du personnel et des enfants, aucune précaution n'a été prise, ce qui nous a obligés à partir plus tôt.
