Great experience with the cutest the school. Staff teaches English level by level and allows you participate in different spelling and pronunciation approaches that keeps the children engaged and wanting to learn

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to do this experience. This host ghosted me the day I arrived. The date was set, the host and I communicated well about getting my visa, bus ticket, etc. My agreed arrival date, I messaged them in the morning to say I was on my way from Vietnam. No response. Five messages throughout the day, no response. I had nowhere to go in Phnom Penh. Dangerous, in my opinion. The next day, host messaged me at noon asking when I would check in. No apology, no explanation. A strange way to treat someone, in my opinion. Didn't seem like they wanted me, so I didn't go.

As the staff is incredibly kind and friendly there are good reasons to come here. Also, the school are enthusiastic and eager to interact with me. But still I expected it to be more interactive. I was usually more sitting in the classroom than being involved. Additionally, it would have been convenient to have cutlery and plates. But still worth to be seen! Thank you!

This was by far my favourite teaching experience to date. The children are well looked after, eager to learn and a joy to teach. Happy, bright little souls with beautiful hearts. I miss them already! Fede's dedication to her work is inspiring and she is a wonderful lady to meet and know. The other teachers are also friendly and eager to engage. Be sure to try the fried tarantulas near the Walk Street event!

My time at AKA has been nothing short of incredible. The school has taught me so much and in ways I have never imagined. Ive not only gotten the chance to make meaningful connections with the students but I also had the opportunity to get to know the teachers who foster such a positive and inspiring Atmosphere for the children everyday. Thank you to teacher Fede for making me feel welcome and at home both in the school and in the accommodation. I also want to express my deep appreciation to all the teachers especially teacher Darin, Vord, Dalin and sokhchea for making me feel welcome.
