C'était une bonne expérience avec Shisti et sa famille; ils sont gentils et je me sens bienvenu depuis mon premier jour.

Je suis tellement reconnaissant d'avoir vécu l'une des meilleures expériences de mes deux semaines au projet Family House. La famille est incroyablement aimable, humble, joyeuse et accueillante. J'ai passé mon temps à récolter des pommes de terre et des légumes, à planter des graines et à travailler la terre. J'ai mangé la meilleure nourriture népalaise et j'ai beaucoup appris sur la culture locale et le mode de vie. Mon emploi du temps s'est parfaitement ajusté à mon temps libre. Nous avons commencé à 9h00, avons pris des toasts et du thé délicieux au petit-déjeuner, puis avons passé deux heures à récolter des pommes de terre. J'ai aussi eu l'occasion de faire du vélo au centre-ville et de jouer avec les enfants. Je suis très reconnaissant, Namaste

Nous sommes très reconnaissants pour votre aide et votre soutien pendant votre temps parmi nous. Vous avez joué avec mon fils à un moment donné; il est peut-être fou, mais vous avez géré cela si bien, et il vous manque déjà énormément. Votre présence nous a rendus très heureux, et nous apprécions sincèrement tout ce que vous avez fait. Cela a signifié beaucoup pour notre famille. Nous espérons que vous avez passé un bon moment ici, et nous espérons vraiment vous revoir la prochaine fois. Vous êtes toujours le bienvenu chez nous. I had a nice stay with the project and her family. I got welcomed into the family home. There is also an orphanage but at the time there were no kids. I ate delicious homemade food, went to visit the school, and was able to participate in local celebrations. Although I did not feel like I could contribute much and I was not sure of my tasks. But the project told me that there would be more work to do on the farm. Due to personal reasons I left after 2 days so my experience is maybe not long enough to illustrate how volunteering can be here. But overall I enjoyed it!

Our experience in the project was very positive: we were warmly welcomed and integrated into the family, with excellent food and the opportunity to take part in family events. The work was accessible and rewarding, though sometimes limited, leaving us to question our usefulness. If you're looking for conviviality, this is the perfect place - we love this family deeply! The project is a very kind woman. Her family welcomed me with open arms. Within 5 minutes of arriving I was put in a saree with tika and before I knew it I was on stage with 2 other volunteers at a dancing competiton. If you would like to experience a realistic household this would be a great place for you. even tho I had made a mistake with the agreement we talked about it and she made me feel better. thank you didi 🫶🏼

We had a very good time with the project and her family. They were so welcoming and eager to show us their daily life and traditions. We learned a lot together, we went to the temple and to religious celebrations, we helped for the cooking, we saw the kindergarten. We have been glad to stay longer to discover more, as it was the monsoon season we couldn't do much with the farming. We'll definitely visit again the project's family if we come back to the project ! Don't hesitate to go 🥰

I had an amazing two weeks with the project and her family on the farm. The hours were flexible, and I love how much I was able to get in touch with nature and learn about their farming techniques. Thanks so much to the project and her family for making my experience in Chitwan so fulfilling and special!!!
