I think is one of the best volunteers from the app. You have a place for yourself which is confortable and beautiful (10mins away from the hotel). You live surrounded by amazing nature, lakes, waterfalls and animals. People and hosts are wonderfull and you can talk and adjust with them anything you need. Make sure you talk about food in advance in case you have special needs. Work is easy and they respect the schedule completely. You will live 45 mins away from the next city, so it could get lonely at times, just make sure you are ok it. You have a rest/bar 5mins walk.

Well, my first volunteer experience was not exactly the best. The place itself is great, as is every single person who works in this hotel. However, be prepared that almost nothing of what is written in the description of the position is actually true. There will be no gardening, no guiding, only washing the dishes, because this is the only work where your help will be actually needed. Don't read the PDF file that Claudia will send you at the beginning, and don't try to be proactive. Just work in the kitchen, wash the dishes, and everything will be great. Only 600 characters for the review???

Malheureusement, nous avons eu une expérience étrange avec Vladimir : il n'a accepté rien de ce que nous lui avons dit, il a tout remis en question et avait toujours d'énormes difficultés à s'adapter aux gens, à la culture, etc. On dirait que vous avez une personnalité et une culture très fermées. Nous n'avons pas réussi à le faire comprendre les tâches, et enfin, aucun membre de l'équipe n'a pu interagir avec lui. Donc, il ne nous a même pas beaucoup aidés (car il remettait en question n'importe quelle tâche différente) et il n'a pas non plus interagi avec l'équipe (puisque l'entraînement en anglais était toujours notre objectif principal). Il semble qu'il voulait nous interviewer tout le temps au lieu d'appartenir à l'équipe ou d'ajouter des choses agréables à celle-ci. Le PDF en question est un manuel avec des instructions d'arrivée, des règles locales, etc., je n'ai pas compris pourquoi il ne l'aimait pas; il a même été écrit par la bénévole qui l'avait précédé, où elle nous a aidés à mettre tout ce qui serait pertinent pour que les futures personnes en aient connaissance.

This experience was amazing. You really are immersed in nature. This experience is more about teaching English than anything else, the people are so kind. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. The closest town is 4,5km away so no quick midnight snack tracks. And traveling to and from the property is a long journey but once you are there the views are terrific. Working hours are really great and host is very flexible as long as there is communication. And work tasks are really basic; washing dishes, carrying stuff to help set up or taking photo
