The most amazing place in the world, on day 1 already feels like home. Rodrigo, Nuno and everyone working in the hostel is super understanding and respectful, give you enough time to rest and have fun. This place is magnet for great people - volunteers and guests, everyone is welcoming and full of love. Its a great place for first time volunteering, so don't doubt- go ahead, you won't regret it. Can't wait to be back one day. Its really home away from home.

Natalia est vraiment drôle et une excellente personne, elle était très proactive et a tout appris très rapidement.
Elle s'est bien entendue avec tout le monde et a même prolongé son séjour.
Globalement, l'expérience a été très bonne et elle sera un excellent atout pour n'importe quelle équipe.

LSH is a perfect place to volunteer at! Everyone was super welcoming and you quickly feel as a part of a big fam cause the hostel has more of a shared house feel. The shifts were chill and you get to have 3 days off per week according to your preference. I loved my stay!🏄🏻♀️🫶🏼

Le séjour de Tereza a été génial, elle est super sympathique, sociable; elle a tout bien fait et, dans l'ensemble, ce fut un plaisir de l'avoir avec nous.

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and I wouldn't change it for the world! It has truly been a roller coaster. Coming into this experience I didn't know what to expect but I have learned so much from the other volunteers and spent time building relationships with people that will last a lifetime! If you like a social environment both with guests and other volunteers this is the place to be.

Anna est géniale, super responsable et proactive; elle a vraiment appris très vite et a tout bien fait, je pouvais me reposer tranquillement le matin en sachant qu'Anna était en poste.
Grande personnalité et distincte, nous la recommandons sans hésiter à n'importe quelle équipe !

My experience with the hostel was wonderful! I worked at the hostel, so I stayed at the beach while a lot of the volunteers worked in the hostel. The work was all very simple and everything expected of us was extremely reasonable. The atmosphere was great, the other volunteers were fun to be around, and the managers were kind, respectful, helpful, and always stayed true to their words. I met many people who were returners to the hostel or extended their stay long terms and I completely understand why, it's the kind of place that's hard to leave. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Staying at the the hostel was a great time. The managers and volunteers were very welcoming and make sure you get the full Portuguese experience. The workload is relaxed and they make sure you have plenty of time to surf or explore other cities/places in Portugal. Definitely recommend volunteering here to anyone interested in Portugal or surfing. Hope to be back soon 🤙🏼

The hostel was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for better! I immediately felt welcomed into the LSH family as soon as I arrived. The managers really care about you and give great recommendations on things to do all over Portugal. The hours/days off were flexible and there was always something fun to do like going surfing, hanging at the pool, and nights out in the hostel with other volunteers and guests! Stay longer than a month if you can! The time will fly by. I'm so grateful for all of my new friends from around the world and I hope to be back!!🩷

Claire est une personne joyeuse, extrêmement sympathique et sociable, avec une ambiance très agréable.
Son séjour chez nous s'est très bien passé; elle a été une excellente barmaid.
Nous la recommandons sans réserve pour d'autres expériences; elle sera un excellent ajout partout.

I had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel. The managers were so sweet and welcoming. The team of other volunteers that I worked with were so great, I really made friends for life. I learnt how to surf (kind of) and had a blast in every way shape and form! The workdays were what you expected and they were really flexible with what days you want to take off, and which shifts suits you the best. This experience was everything I expected and more and I already miss it and wish that I had more time there :'(

Johanna est incroyable, très aimable, sociable et drôle.
C'était génial de l'avoir parmi nous, elle a tout appris rapidement et bien; je ne me suis pas du tout inquiété quand elle était en service.
La seule chose que nous pouvons dire est que nous aurions aimé qu'elle reste plus longtemps, car son séjour était vraiment bon.

I loved everything about my experience with LSH, this place became home. So grateful that I could always rely of the support and openness of the managers, and to have worked with the most incredible family of staff and volunteers. The hostel has a great vibe, is in ideal location, and requesting preferred days off was respected and encouraged, making it very possible to explore the rest of Portugal. I will miss every bit of it 🫶.

Lilli est très aimable et mature, elle a très bien travaillé et a été d'une grande aide.
Les bonnes choses viennent en petits paquets, Lilli peut paraître de petite taille, mais c'est une personne formidable et son séjour était génial; nous aurions aimé qu'elle puisse rester plus longtemps.
Nous la recommandons définitivement à n'importe quelle équipe.

It was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing, the lifestyle it's great, I will miss taking surf lessons and being so close to the beach, the tasks were easy and i enjoyed doing the bbqs, everybody was so friendly and I will miss my LSH family, I 100% recommend this place and don't think about applying twice you will love it!

Staying at the the hostel was for sure one of the best experiences I had! You get to know a lot of people from all around the world and create new friendships. There is also a lot of free time, where you can explore portugal. The managers Rodrigo, Nuno and Manel are amazing people, they always take care of the volunteers and the guests and help you everywhere they can. Thank you for everything! Also the work was not too hard, though it can get a bit stressfull when the house is full, but people were always there to help you out, just like a big family🧡 Already missing all of you :(
