I spent a bit over a month at the organization and I can 100% recommend volunteering there. The place is truly special hidden in the hills near aljezur, completely immersed in nature. I volunteered in the building team and helped produce adobe bricks for 1 month as a preparation for a natural building course in which I also participated. For me it was really the perfect fit, I learned a lot and made amazing memories whilst living in the community. Mario and Joana created a beautiful home for their family and the volunteers who stay there. I hope I get to be back someday! Thanks for everything!

I had an amazing time in Quinta the organization. I will be always grateful to all the team for the love and energy that allowed us to create a beautiful atmosphere. The place is like heaven and Mario, Johana and Javi are very kind. The only thing I have to say is about the meals, we didn't have a "proper" dinner. We had access to the lunch leftovers but sometimes it wasn't enough for everybody so we had to buy food at supermarket. Thank you Quinta <3

Ton commentaire concernant la nourriture est quelque peu surprenant, principalement parce que tu aidais surtout dans l'équipe de cuisine et que tu étais chargée d'apporter les ingrédients afin que les autres puissent dîner dans la petite cuisine. Comme tu le sais, notre communauté fournit des ingrédients pour 3 repas simples et équilibrés par jour: petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner. Nous cuisinons le déjeuner pour tout le monde et nous faisons de notre mieux pour fournir les ingrédients de base afin que chacun puisse cuisiner un petit-déjeuner et un dîner équilibrés mais simples. Nous n'offrons pas tout ce que chacun voudrait selon ses goûts personnels. Nous avons une compréhension claire de ce qu'est un repas approprié et tout ce que quelqu'un pourrait vouloir ajouter est invité à l'apporter. Encore une fois, nous proposons un régime équilibré, nutritionnel et simple. Nous comprenons le sentiment d'un excellent déjeuner lorsque nous le préparons et que les gens peuvent se sentir très heureux avec ce plat, puis être déçus au dîner lorsque ce sont eux qui sont invités à cuisiner pour eux-mêmes.

Mi experiencia en Quinta la organización superó mis expectativas. Disfruté de conectar con personas muy buenas de distintas partes del mundo, explorar la granja y sus alrededores, y también aprender muchos tips en la cocina. Recomiendo esta experiencia muchísimo.

Mi experiencia con Joana y Mario en Quinta la organización fue increíble! Desde el momento en que llegué, su actitud empática y acogedora hizo que me sintiera como en casa. An amazing experience in a magic place in the nature. I've meet a lot of kind people. Mario and Joana are so courteous. We was around fifteen volunteers and we had incredible moments. I loved the energy of this experience

Quinta the organization is a beautiful place to connect with yourself, nature and other travellers. The tasks are clearly outlined and everyone is willing to assist you when needed. I felt comfortable and welcomed during my stay. The beaches around the farm (not walking distance) are also really beautiful. The overall energy of Quinta the organization is uplifting and relaxed.

Quinta the organization is in a beautiful area in nature and it was amazing for meeting people from around the world. The hosts were welcoming & kind. There was some tension with some volunteers due to communication issues from both sides. The work depends on your team, I loved working in the kitchen & the roomcare team was also good but the hours were more variable. Getting around could be a challenge when you couldn't get a lift, but it's part of the experience and I was never bored. Overall, I had a good time here exploring the area with beautiful people.
