La famille du foyer est incroyablement accueillante et m'a fait me sentir chez moi. Les enfants adultes de Mirian et Ringo, Seba (Sebastian) et Vero (Veronica), et Mirian parlent anglais et espagnol. J'avais une chambre privée et confortable et je partageais la salle de bains à l'étage avec Seba. Mirian et Vero m'ont aidé à planifier des activités amusantes comme faire du kayak et visiter les Marais d'Iberá. Enseigner à l'école a été extrêmement gratifiant; j'ai vraiment apprécié. J'ai aidé les étudiants avec leur prononciation et répondu à des questions 'comment dit-on...?' pendant que Mirian et Vero enseignaient les leçons. Le niveau d'anglais des étudiants est vraiment impressionnant.

Mon expérience à Goya a été incroyable. Miriam et sa famille ont été incroyablement accueillants et toujours prêts à aider. En ce qui concerne l'enseignement, chaque élève que j'ai enseigné était désireux d'apprendre et tentait d'avoir une conversation avec moi. L'institut est un projet tellement brillant, et ce que j'admire le plus, c'est l'élan constant pour améliorer les méthodes d'enseignement afin de les rendre aussi confortables et efficaces que possible pour les étudiants. Je recommande vivement aux voyageurs de passer par là; cela en vaut vraiment la peine!

J'ai passé 2 semaines dans une maison familiale pleine de rires et d'amour. Le temps passé à l'institut était très flexible et enrichissant. Si vous cherchez à vous immerger dans le mode de vie argentin et à rencontrer des habitants, je recommanderais vivement cette expérience.

Nous avons adoré notre temps avec Mirian et sa famille, et nous sommes très reconnaissants pour les deux semaines que nous avons pu passer avec eux. Nous nous sommes sentis si bien accueillis et appréciés dès notre arrivée, le travail était flexible et la maison elle-même était ravissante. Mirian est incroyablement aimable et généreuse; non seulement envers nous en tant que bénévoles mais aussi avec le temps et les soins qu'elle accorde aux étudiants de l'institut. Elle et tous les merveilleux enseignants sont si formidables! Nous avons adoré participer aux cours d'anglais; discuter avec les étudiants et partager nos connaissances avec eux chaque jour. Merci de nous avoir accueillis, vous allez tous nous manquer! xx

It is amazing how you can sometimes travel to the other part of the world and meet such like-minded people. We could talk for hours in English and Spanish even though my level of Spanish hardly reaches B1. It is amazing to see such a friendly and coherent family, so devoted to their institute, their mission. And also it was such a pleasure to see the faces of the students, who regardless of the financial hardships the country is facing, still have time and resources for education and self development. I am truly blessed to have had this experience as my first volunteering!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the family was incredibly kind and welcoming for the whole stay. While working at the english institute every teacher there was very enthusiastic and excited to teach and learn english. Our accommodation was also very nice, we had a private room and bathroom with ac that worked effectively. They cooked every meal for us and accommodated for our vegetarianism. I very much recommend applying!

Our stay here was amazing! They are the kindest most welcoming and loving family with the cutest dogs and cat🥰🥰The english institute we helped at is wonderful, Miriam and Vero work so hard and are amazing at what they do. The accomodation they gave us was very nice, with our own bathroom and much needed AC😂Even though they weren't vegetarian themselves, they would cook us veggie food everyday and we learnt lots of new recipes😋They became family to us and we are so grateful for this experience ❤️❤️

This experience changed the course of my life. The family is so incredibly lovely and warm and truly made me feel comfortable and like I was part of the family. I learned so much about teaching English and am now pursuing a career in teaching. I am so grateful for this opportunity to meet Goya, this family, and the students. I recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone with a passion for sharing language and culture

We stayed with Miriam, Vero and Ringo for 10 days at their lovely house. They are the most kind hearted family I've ever come across. They make you feel so welcome and part of the family. During our time we visited 3 different schools where Miriam works at. This was an amazing experience as all the schools are different and we spent time learning how Miriam and Vero teach their students. We also spent time meeting all the students and involving ourselves into the lessons. This was an unforgettable experience. They really treated us so well with amazing food and company.
