J'ai passé six semaines ici et j'ai adoré chaque instant! Amanda est vraiment charmante et tous les animaux sont très doux! Prépare-toi à un travail dur, mais ton aide et ton engagement sont vraiment nécessaires et appréciés à la ferme! Il y a toujours quelque chose à faire ou quelque part où aller - voir un festival de danse dans le village ou visiter de magnifiques plages lors de ma journée de repos! Si tu envisages d'aider, fais-le - je le recommanderais sans hésiter à toute personne qui aime les chevaux, l'extérieur ou les animaux! Je retournerai certainement dans cet endroit merveilleux!!!

Le lieu et Amanda vous accueillent à bras ouverts, le silence, le calme et la nature deviennent une partie de toi. Des activités faciles, mes heures ont toujours été respectées ainsi que mes journées, j'ai eu l'occasion de me connecter et de rencontrer des personnes merveilleuses, me connecter avec moi-même. C'est un grand projet, et cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Et si vous cherchez à vous trouver et à contribuer, c'est un excellent volontariat, qui nécessite exactement du soutien à partir d'avril 2026. C'est tout simplement beau. Paix et amour pour tous.

J'ai adoré mon temps à la ferme et j'ai prolongé mon séjour. Le soin exemplaire apporté aux ponys est au premier plan. Amanda a des connaissances dans de nombreux domaines, mais le temps limité — je ne me suis jamais rendu compte de tout le travail nécessaire pour diriger une organisation à but non lucratif ! Les journées suivent une routine, organisées avec des tâches manuelles claires. Il faut s'engager pendant 4/5 heures pour en tirer le meilleur parti ! Les trois chiens de sauvetage énergétiques ont besoin de temps pour s'adapter à de nouvelles personnes et à des limites strictes, mais ils sont adorables. La chambre est simple mais dispose de tout l'essentiel; la zone offre paix et tranquillité et un ciel nocturne époustouflant. La nourriture est savoureuse et nutritive. La plage est proche et le village se trouve à 10 km, il est facile de faire de l'autostop !

I really enjoyed my time at skyros. I think there was enough work and enough free time. One day a week was a free day when I could go to the city or the beach. I recommend this place to everyone who likes horses and simple and peacefull life style.

I'm glad I could support Amanda's and Stathis incredible project. They care for their animals more than well. The work and accommodation is as described and the area is very pretty. It's a good opportunity if you are looking for a place to calm down and be around lots of animals. I liked the volunteer team, it was always nice and I met great people :)

It's a great place. Amanda and Stathie are nice people and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The work can be hard if you're not used to it. But you will gain strength during your time here. I was supposed to stay for 2 months but instead I stayed 4, so I definitely recommend it.

I stayed at Amanda and Stathis' farm for two months. Both of them are incredibly kind and welcoming, treating their volunteers with much respect and open hearts. Their dedication to the project is mind-blowing. They both give their all and still go above and beyond to care for not only the many beautiful horses, but all the animals they have taken into their care. The farm is a place where you can truly learn more about yourself, while also never getting too bored as there is always something to do or discover around the farm/island. I had a wonderful time there and would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm where the horses and other animals are treated with so much respect and care. The work is mucking out, feeding and giving water to the horses etc.. It is physically hard work but very rewarding. Food is super delicious. The living area is rustic and simple. At the farm you will have alot of time to think and reflect and in the freetime you can go to the beach, go to the taverna, go to the church and go on walks. I stayed for 7 weeks but could have stayed longer. Elin

I stayed at the farm with Amanda and Stathis for 2 weeks to put up a fence. Overall was an amazing opportunity to truly experience the local day to day. It is obvious that these animals are cared for at the highest possible level and they are always at the forefront of the farm's decisions. I felt the experience was advertised well and didn't have any surprises with accommodations. If you are comfortable in the elements and enjoy nature than this will be a perfect fit!

I had a wonderful time at Amanda's! the ponies (and the other animals) are more than well cared for, you can really see that Amanda and Stathis are real animal lovers & have dedicated their life to this project, very inspiring! not only their animals are treated with respect, but it's the same with us volunteers, I felt very welcome. the work is fair and easy but still important (e.g. mucking out, filling up waters). unfortunately, i injured my ankle and decided to leave to get treatment (I've had problems with this before, so i had to be careful). Amanda was very understanding & supportive:)
