Esta es mi primera experiencia como voluntario y sin duda ha sido increíble, desde el primer día fui bien recibida , la calidez y amabilidad de ambos me hicieron sentir en casa. Sin duda me llevo un gran recuerdo, una familia hermosa, el lugar precioso y las actividades entre todos. Aprendí sobre olivos, mejoré algunas de mi habilidades en trabajos manuales y aprendí otras nuevas. Eternamente agradecida de sentirme en casa y ser uno más de su familia . Gracias Flor y Jose 🌸

Me gustó mucho pasar esta semana en "Finca the farm" Les agradezco mucho a José, Flor, Joselito, Lola, Poli y Minino por hacernos sentir en familia. Fueron muy amables con nosotros y se preocuparon por nuestro bienestar; respetaron nuestros tiempos y días libres. Algunas de las tareas las hicimos juntos, entonces pudimos compartir un montón. También pudimos compartir algunas comidas que cocinaron (riquísimas) por lo que les agradecemos mucho! Las tareas fueron variadas y entretenidas. Las explicaciones eran claras. Muchas gracias por estos días!🥰

Pasamos una hermosa semana conviviendo con Florencia y Jose, super agradables de tratar y pendientes de que la experiencia sea buena. Los momentos compartidos son un deleite de compartir anecdotas, filosofias y experiencias de vida. Las tareas son flexibles, variadas y adaptables a las destrezas que uno tenga, y Jose es muy habil y dispuesto a guiar lo que se agradece mucho. Hay cantidad de lugares hermosos de visitar a distancia de un tren, y las bicicletas estan en excelente estado y son un deleite para seguir conociendo. Unica mención, la conectividad es inestable y no llega al dormi.

Andalusia was very beautiful but, unfortunately, I can't say the same about my volunteer experience. The house assigned to me and the other volunteers was in terrible conditions. There was even a hole in the ceiling and, before my arrival, mouse droppings were found inside a kitchen cabinet. During my stay, the toilet also broke and wasn't repaired. Making the experience even more difficult was the relationship with José, the owner. I found him rude on several occasions and aggressive. The situation became so unpleasant that I had to leave the facility a day earlier.

This Worldpackers experience gave me a new perspective through cultural exchange. Jose and Flor were really welcoming, even took us to Tarifa, shared local recommendations, and sometimes invited us for lunch. Our job was building the cabin which was demanding but rewarding. However, our accommodation had some issues, including a leaking ceiling, doors that did not close, and a toilet that broke and was not fixed. Communication with Jose was sometimes difficult due to the language barrier and different opinions. But overall, I would recommend it, just be aware these things might occur.

My first experience taught me so much. The family was very kind, they shared meals with us, took us on a trip and were always friendly and welcoming. They tried their best to explain things when we didn't understand, however, they didn't speak English, so communication was difficult when our Spanish wasn't enough. The only negative side was the accommodation. The house had a leaking ceiling, no lock, broken tiles, and a broken toilet that we had to flush with a bucket during our last week because José refused to fix it. Despite all these problems, the experience was still very valuable.

Fue una experiencia increíble. Flor y Jose fueron muy buenos y atentos con nosotros desde el principio, tanto que me sentí como en casa <3 Cádiz es una ciudad preciosa, rodeada de historia y paisajes espectaculares. Definitivamente lo recomiendo

Una hermosa experiencia en la casa junto a Flor y Jose!! Nos hemos sentido super cómodos desde el primer momento! Las tareas realizadas fueron de jardinería. El lugar está muy bien conectado para conocer distintas ciudades de la zona en el tiempo libre. Un placer haberlos conocido y compartido momentos juntos!

Experiencia increíble en la casa ! Flor y Jose me han hecho sentir cómodo en todo momento. Disfrute haciendo las tareas. El lugar es espectacular y esta muy bien conectado para visitar toda la bahía de cadiz. Recomendable y me encantaría regresar algún día !!

It's been a great experience. Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. This opportunity has been very useful for learning new practical skills and improving our language skills. We met a wonderful family with whom we shared many memorable moments, both during working hours and in our free time. I would highly recommend it!
