All in all we had a really great time in the hostel, the hostel family welcomed us and we met really nice people and friends for the future. The work was the cleaning of the hostel and accommodating the beds and rooms, which was combined with the sun and the heat a little tough, but even though the hours were fully respected. I was there 2 years ago already and all I can say is that the hostel always stays a place to meet lovely people to enjoy the beach or the nightlife in playa. Wen recommend it 💯 percent! Mi primera experiencia en Worldpackers en el hostel fue GENIAL, es un lugar cálido, te sientes como en casa, me pude relacionar con muchísimas personas, hacer muchos amigos, mejorar mi nivel de inglés, aprender de la cultura local, conocí muchos lugares, ame la Riviera Maya, no me quería regresar 🥹🫶🏼 gracias por todo !! Nunca olvidare este viaje ♥️ ahhh y el lugar es seguro, está céntrico y a una cuadra de la playa, de podía andar por la calle con celular 🙊

Mi primera experiencia como voluntaria no podía a ver comenzado en otro lugar que no sea este. Me sentí a gusto en todo momento, clima cálido, familiar, personas de todo el mundo, culturas, idiomas, reuniones. el hostel es y sera mi casa siempre ❤️🌈 gracias por todo lo que han hecho y lo que hacen por mi. Muy grata experiencia. Muy recordable.

They were super helpful and friendly even though i asked to them about how to perform tasks, etc a lot. I could see them trying to be close to me and very welcoming. I don't speak Spanish, but i could learn a little of Spanish here. The rooftop is super beautiful and well organized. I enjoyed it a lot! Also i have met many people from all over the world, i could get improved English as well. When i took day off, it was able to go to other city for few days trip which was really nice for travelers. Thanks for giving me a chance to volunteer although i have not done it before!:) Bless you!

Stephan was awesome and super understanding. If things come up for you problems or needs communicate with him and he will help you find a solution. The cleaning position is not for the faint of heart and it is tiring work, the person who is in charge of the cleaning is very particular and does not have a lot of patience if you don't speak fluent spanish and is very particular about odd things that might be confusing if you don't fully understand spanish. Overall I am grateful for this though because it did really make me learn quickly. The staff is like a family and that I really loved :)

Ser voluntario en el hostel fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers. El lugar se encuentra en una zona muy céntrica de PDC y a solo una cuadra del mar. Esta experiencia me enseñó a ser más firme en mis decisiones y me apena decir que desde un principio no fue acordado el trabajo que yo había quedado en mi aplicación , por lo que hubieron varios mal entendidos.
