L'ostello è un posto molto rilassante. L'atmosfera è meravigliosa, e avere due onsen nell'ostello è un incredibile vantaggio che ha reso questa la mia esperienza più rilassante finora. I compiti sono esattamente come descritti e il lavoro scorre molto facilmente. Ma senza dubbio, la parte migliore di questo ostello è il team. Tutti sono calorosi, accoglienti, e mi hanno sempre fatto sentire completamente a casa. Abbiamo fatto alcune attività insieme in cui ho imparato molto sulla cultura giapponese, e mi hanno davvero fatto custodire questa esperienza nel mio cuore. Grazie, team♥️

Mi sono divertita molto trascorrendo all'ostello. Sono riuscita a praticare il giapponese con i membri dello staff, praticare l'inglese con i clienti e gli altri world packers, mi sono sentita molto a mio agio nel posto perché i letti sono di tipo capsule e piuttosto comodi, e l'onsen è un incredibile vantaggio. Le attività non erano difficili, e i membri dello staff me le spiegavano sempre per primi. Mi sono sentita come a casa con loro, un'esperienza indimenticabile. Grazie mille ❤️

Non potrei chiedere di meglio in questo posto, lo staff è meraviglioso e ti fanno sentire a casa dal primo giorno.
Il lavoro è chiaro e giusto, tutti aiutano quando serve, perché se finiamo tutti prima del tempo, puoi avere il resto della giornata libero.
Hakone è il mix perfetto tra comodità e tradizione, e grazie alla bici elettrica gratuita per i volontari e al pagamento settimanale di 2000 per il cibo, puoi fare escursioni perfette con poca fatica.

Ks House è stata una grande esperienza. Hakone è super rilassante ed è un ottimo posto per rilassarsi se sei stato a viaggiare per molto tempo, come me. Lo staff è tutto adorabile e, nel complesso, ho trascorso un periodo incredibile.

I had a great time here! The team is very friendly and got to meet lots of people. The hostel feels like a home, you can cook your own meals in the kitchen (there is no super market close by, but there are konbini and use their e-bike), the lounge was a great place to hang out with guests and fellow volunteers & the onsen is a bonus! Most of the time we finished work early (3-3,5h) instead of 4 hours and the instructions were clear. I slept in my own room which i later shared when the other volunteers arrived. If you like chilling/nature this is the place for you. Thank you the hostel!

I had the best time at the hostel. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, you can really make yourself at home here, and everything is so clean. It is the most organised Worldpackers experience I've had so far! Everyone has their own tasks and then you work together to finish the group tasks, so you're able to manage your time effectively as you know what you need to do within the 4 hours. The staff show you what to do so you know what to do and how to do it. Thank you for everything, I will miss my Hakone family! I wish I could have stayed for longer, highly recommend.

This was my first volunteering experience in Worldpackers, and I'm so happy I got to live this experience with the hostel team. From the first day, I felt welcomed, they took time explaining the tasks I was meant to do and communication was clear from the start. Also, we finished early most of the time which allowed me to explore and do other activities. I really enjoyed the interactions I had with the team, the other volunteers and the guests! I couldn't have asked for a better first experience in Japan!! The whole team was super welcoming and so nice at all times and happy to help if I had questions. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and I felt very safe. The work was easy and we were done early most of the time, which made it possible to do small day trips and exploring every day. Thank you for the great time. I really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend it to other Worldpackers! If I get the chance to, I'll stop by again and say hello :)

I really liked my time in Hakone. Yayoi-san and the whole team were very kind and always friendly. The hostel itself was also a place that felt very cozy and home-like. There were many international guests and it was easy to connect with them. The working time was said to be 4 hours per day, but we usually finished earlier. The tasks were easy and always manageable. Hakone itself was beautiful too, right in the middle of nature, but as other reviews already said, there wasn't that much to do, so be prepared for that. All in all it was a great learning experience and i felt truly welcomed:)
