Gérard e Monique sono incredibilmente simpatici. Sono stati molto comprensivi con il mio francese e mi hanno spiegato tutto con pazienza, il che mi ha permesso di imparare moltissimo. Mi hanno portato in diverse escursioni, il che è stato un vero vantaggio e molto divertente! Mi hanno insegnato molte cose sulla storia della Francia e aneddoti interessanti su frutta e verdura. Durante il giorno fa molto caldo, quindi Gérard non ti lascerà lavorare in quel momento. Attenzione alle zanzare tigre, ce ne sono molte, quindi non esitare a chiedere a Monique un repellente per insetti. :)

Monique e Gerard sono persone meravigliose, gentili con molta energia e vigore. L\'esperienza con loro mi ha portato apprendimenti di vita e sulla storia della Francia e anche mondiale. Per chi desidera vivere una vera immersione nella natura, imparare sulla coltivazione, raccolta, piante e i loro effetti, ancora con il canto degli uccelli, il suono di una cascata in un ambiente incantevole; la casa è il posto. ❤️Tutto è stato incredibile e magico, ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative. 💭È stato come scoprire vari paradisi, imparando un po' di tutto nei giardini, sotto le cure e i consigli di Monique e Gérard, persone fantastiche che ci hanno insegnato molto e ci hanno fatto scoprire la cultura francese in profondità. C'erano pavoni e oche!🦚🪿 Un vero sogno. E i pasti… un vero piacere: abbiamo avuto la fortuna di assaggiare pomodori🍅, zucchine, melanzane, peperoni e erbe aromatiche del loro raccolto.💪

È stata un'esperienza profondamente ispiratrice. Il design armonioso tra il giardino, gli stagni e la casa crea uno spazio che respira bellezza e serenità. Le oche e i pavoni che lo abitano conferiscono al luogo un tocco magico e vivace. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo imparato molto sul giardinaggio. Ma oltre le piante e i paesaggi, ciò che è davvero fiorito è stata la connessione umana. Gerard e Monique ci hanno accolti con amore, condividendo aneddoti che ci hanno immersi nella ricchezza della cultura francese. Abbiamo nel cuore bei ricordi e un'amicizia ancora più bella!

Bom, gostaria de começar agradecendo, a Monique e Gerar por me receberem tão bem! Pessoas educadas, gentis e muito simpáticas, me sentir em casa o tempo todo, super atenciosos e tranquilos. O lugar é muito bonito, com uma paisagem natural deslumbrante e belíssima, animais e rosas muito bonitas. Infelizmente tive que sair uma semana antes do intercâmbio acabar de fato por questão pessoal de saúde, mas gostaria de deixa minhas desculpas por não ter concluído e os meus agradecimento a família.

I spent 6 weeks here and it was incredible! Monique and Gerard are so welcoming and kind. I felt right at home from the beginning. Hours and tasks were made clear. They really want to make sure you are fine and comfortable with what you are doing. When they went to different towns and areas they always asked me if I wanted to go so I could explore. The conversations with them were amazing and with some of their help and patience I really improved my French! The garden was beautiful and I got to connect with nature while being there. I would highly recommend and 100% would come back and help.

I spent three amazing weeks in Monique en Gerard's botanical garden. They are incredibly generous, caring and sociable people. I learned so much about french culture, the language and gardening. They took me on little trips, helped me with everything I needed and made me feel very welcome. The work was not too demanding and the hours were respected. Monique and Gerard provide amazing meals and are always open for lively conversations :) It's the true french experience! I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the french countryside or wants to practice their french.

I had a great two weeks with Monique, Gérard and all the animals. They are very kind people, always making sure you're doing fine, and they like to be social. If you want to improve your french it's the perfect place. The meals were fantastic and ofcourse the garden an their home is beautiful. I loved all the animals around the house; the dog, cats, a lot of peacocks, a swan, geese, an otter (I think). The work in the garden is different every day. Sometimes a bit harder, sometimes easy, but the instructions and the schedule was always fair and clear. I had a wonderful experience!

It was an incredible experience! I had the chance to practice my French with locals, explore beautiful places, enjoy delicious food, and immerse myself in nature while working with them. Gérard and Monique truly made me feel at home!

One of the best experiences in my life. I absolutely loved my stay here, the botanical garden is an absolutely stunning property and Monique and Gerald are extremely kind, I felt very welcome and as if I came to my own grandparents. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience French culture and life in the countryside. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!
