Sfortunatamente, non ho mai avuto l'opportunità di fare questa esperienza. Questo host mi ha lasciato all'oscuro il giorno del mio arrivo. La data era stata fissata, l'host ed io avevamo comunicato bene riguardo al visto, al biglietto dell'autobus, ecc. Per la mia data di arrivo concordata, le ho inviato un messaggio al mattino per dire che stavo partendo dal Vietnam. Nessuna scusa, nessuna spiegazione. Un modo strano di trattare qualcuno, a mio avviso. Non sembrava che volessero che restassi, quindi non sono andato.

Il personale è incredibilmente gentile e cordiale, ci sono buone ragioni per venire qui. Inoltre, i bambini sono entusiasti e desiderosi di interagire con me. Ma mi aspettavo comunque che fosse più interattivo. Di solito passavo più tempo seduto in classe che a partecipare. Inoltre, sarebbe stato comodo avere posate e piatti. Ma comunque vale la pena vederlo. Grazie!

This was by far my favourite teaching experience to date. The children are well looked after, eager to learn and a joy to teach. Happy, bright little souls with beautiful hearts. I miss them already! Fede's dedication to her work is inspiring and she is a wonderful lady to meet and know. The other teachers are also friendly and eager to engage. Be sure to try the fried tarantulas near the Walk Street event!

My time at AKA has been nothing short of incredible. The school has taught me so much and in ways I have never imagined. Ive not only gotten the chance to make meaningful connections with the students but I also had the opportunity to get to know the teachers who foster such a positive and inspiring Atmosphere for the children everyday. Thank you to teacher Fede for making me feel welcome and at home both in the school and in the accommodation. I also want to express my deep appreciation to all the teachers especially teacher Darin, Vord, Dalin and sokhchea for making me feel welcome.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the school. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and genuinely love the school. The students are so bright and have a genuine love for learning. I'm grateful that I was able to contribute to the school and still have time to explore Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. I can't believe how fast my month and a half went by! Thank you to the teachers, students, and staff. I will never forget my experience at the school!

Me recibieron con los brazos abiertos y me explicaron muy bien todo lo que tenía que hacer, los niños son muy educados y majos. Tuve un problema de salud y el equipo directivo lo entendió perfectamente. Lo recomiendo completamente.

I loved my experience as a volunteer. I love children so spending time with them was the best part of this experience.Other teachers are very nice and many of them can really help you in gaining new skills when it comes to working with the school. The house was great, everything functioned and it is very near the school. The food was also great, i had lunch at school and i loved it. The breakfast i had snacks and coffee because that is what i asked for and what i prefer. Thank you very much for this nice experience! :D

Il mio partner ed io avevamo un alloggio confortevole, personale disponibile e cibo decente. Il WiFi doveva essere incluso nel nostro alloggio. Nonostante molte promesse, non è mai stato fornito. La maggior parte degli studenti era dolce. Tuttavia, problemi comportamentali gravi — come toccamenti inappropriati e pugni frequenti — non sono stati affrontati. Il problema principale era la salute: una insegnante ha dichiarato di avere la tubercolosi e è tornata al lavoro mentre era contagiosa. Nonostante avessimo sollevato preoccupazioni sulla sicurezza del personale e dei bambini, nessuna precauzione è stata presa, il che ci ha costretti a partire prima.
