Sono così grato di aver vissuto una delle migliori esperienze delle mie due settimane presso il progetto Family House. La famiglia è incredibilmente gentile, umile, allegra e accogliente. Ho trascorso il mio tempo a raccogliere patate e verdure, piantare semi e arare il terreno. Ho mangiato il miglior cibo nepalesiano e ho imparato molto sulla cultura locale e sul modo di vivere. Il mio orario di lavoro si è adattato perfettamente al mio tempo libero. Abbiamo iniziato alle 9:00, abbiamo fatto toast e tè delizioso per la colazione, e poi abbiamo trascorso due ore a raccogliere patate. Ho anche avuto l'opportunità di andare in bicicletta in centro e giocare con i bambini. Sono molto grato, Namaste.

Siamo molto grati per il tuo gentile aiuto e supporto durante il tempo trascorso con noi. Hai giocato con mio figlio a volte; è pazzo, ma te la sei cavata così bene, e già ti manca molto. La tua presenza ci ha reso molto felici e apprezziamo davvero tutto quello che hai fatto. Significava molto per la nostra famiglia. Speriamo che tu abbia trascorso un buon periodo qui, e speriamo davvero di rivederti la prossima volta. Sei sempre il benvenuto nella nostra casa. Sei nostro fratello... e anche un membro della mia famiglia, fratello. Stammi bene e resta al sicuro.

I had a nice stay with the project and her family. I got welcomed into the family home. There is also an orphanage but at the time there were no kids. I ate delicious homemade food, went to visit the school, and was able to participate in local celebrations. Although I did not feel like I could contribute much and I was not sure of my tasks. But the project told me that there would be more work to do on the farm. Due to personal reasons I left after 2 days so my experience is maybe not long enough to illustrate how volunteering can be here. But overall I enjoyed it!

Our experience in the project was very positive: we were warmly welcomed and integrated into the family, with excellent food and the opportunity to take part in family events. The work was accessible and rewarding, though sometimes limited, leaving us to question our usefulness. If you're looking for conviviality, this is the perfect place - we love this family deeply! Babu, we won't forget you, we promise 🫶 We won't forget this expérience !

The project is a very kind woman. Her family welcomed me with open arms. Within 5 minutes of arriving I was put in a saree with tika and before I knew it I was on stage with 2 other volunteers at a dancing competiton. If you would like to experience a realistic household this would be a great place for you. even tho I had made a mistake with the agreement we talked about it and she made me feel better. thank you didi 🫶🏼

We had a very good time with the project and her family. They were so welcoming and eager to show us their daily life and traditions. We learned a lot together, we went to the temple and to religious celebrations, we helped for the cooking, we saw the kindergarten. We have been glad to stay longer to discover more, as it was the monsoon season we couldn't do much with the farming. We'll definitely visit again the project's family if we come back to the project ! Don't hesitate to go 🥰

I had an amazing two weeks with the project and her family on the farm. The hours were flexible, and I love how much I was able to get in touch with nature and learn about their farming techniques. Thanks so much to the project and her family for making my experience in Chitwan so fulfilling and special!!!
