I think is one of the best volunteers from the app. You have a place for yourself which is confortable and beautiful (10mins away from the hotel). You live surrounded by amazing nature, lakes, waterfalls and animals. People and hosts are wonderfull and you can talk and adjust with them anything you need. Make sure you talk about food in advance in case you have special needs. Work is easy and they respect the schedule completely. You will live 45 mins away from the next city, so it could get lonely at times, just make sure you are ok it. You have a rest/bar 5mins walk.

Well, my first volunteer experience was not exactly the best. The place itself is great, as is every single person who works in this hotel. However, be prepared that almost nothing of what is written in the description of the position is actually true. There will be no gardening, no guiding, only washing the dishes, because this is the only work where your help will be actually needed. Don't read the PDF file that Claudia will send you at the beginning, and don't try to be proactive. Just work in the kitchen, wash the dishes, and everything will be great. Sfortunatamente abbiamo avuto una strana esperienza con Vladimir, non ha accettato nulla di quello che gli abbiamo detto, ha messo in discussione tutto e ha sempre avuto enormi difficoltà ad adattarsi alle persone, alla cultura, ecc. Sembra che abbiate una personalità e una cultura molto chiuse. Non siamo riusciti a fargli capire i compiti e, alla fine, nessun membro del team è stato in grado di interagire con lui. Quindi, non ci ha nemmeno molto aiutato (perché metteva in discussione qualsiasi compito diverso) e non ha nemmeno interagito con il team (poiché l'addestramento in inglese è sempre stato il nostro obiettivo principale). Sembra che volesse intervistarci tutto il tempo invece di far parte o aggiungere cose belle al team. Il PDF in questione è un manuale con istruzioni sull'arrivo, regole locali, ecc.; non capivo perché non gli piacesse, era addirittura scritto dalla volontaria che lo aveva preceduto, dove ci aveva aiutato a mettere tutto ciò che sarebbe rilevante per le future persone da sapere.

This experience was amazing. You really are immersed in nature. This experience is more about teaching English than anything else, the people are so kind. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. The closest town is 4,5km away so no quick midnight snack tracks. And traveling to and from the property is a long journey but once you are there the views are terrific. Working hours are really great and host is very flexible as long as there is communication. And work tasks are really basic; washing dishes, carrying stuff to help set up or taking photo
