I recommend the hostel for many reasons! Friendly welcoming staff, a nice place to stay, and 10 minutes from the beach. I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world on shift and then running down to the ocean to surf with free great equipment and lessons. The work was easy, well explained and I always felt comfortable asking questions. Awesome experience!!

Beautiful hostel, beautiful place and beautiful people, it was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel and I couldn't ask for anything better. They always made me feel welcome; I will most likely return. I recommend it to all travellers☀️

La experiencia fue increíble! desde el momento uno me hicieron sentir muy cómoda y como en casa. Todos son super amables y relajados!. Pude tomar clases de surf y conocer gente de todas partes del mundo. El hostel es hermoso y esta muy bien conectado, ideal para recorrer un poco Portugal. Definitivamente volvería y lo recomiendo!!

Spent the last five five days before my departure crying, and ended up extending for another month. I guess this says enough about how amazing this place is :) people, lifestyle, experiences, everythinggg🫶🏻 First volunteering experience ever and I couldn't ask for anything better. Il soggiorno di Chiara è stato incredibile; alla fine ha deciso di prolungare il soggiorno di un altro mese.
È molto socievole, responsabile e proattiva; ha imparato tutto molto rapidamente e ha fatto bene.
Ha fatto amicizia con tutti quelli che sono passati dall'ostello.
Nel complesso, è stata una grande aggiunta al team e la consigliamo sicuramente per qualsiasi esperienza di world packer.

I had an amazing experience at the surf hostel and would highly recommend to any travellers, the atmosphere is magical and the location is perfect. The team are super supportive and welcoming I had an incredible time:)

Greta è una ragazza davvero divertente, ha lavorato molto bene ed è diventata amica di tutti.
Il suo soggiorno è stato davvero buono, l'unica cosa che posso dire è che i computer sono il suo peggior nemico XD, ma ha comunque imparato bene cosa doveva fare e non è stato affatto un problema.
La consigliamo decisamente per altre esperienze worldpackers!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly, filled with the loveliest and most kind-hearted people. The work is relaxed, with working hours and day-off requests always respected, giving you plenty of free time to explore Portugal, learn to surf, and have fun! The managers, Bia, Nuno, and Rodrigo, are incredibly supportive and always there when you need them, making sure you're comfortable throughout your stay!🌼💖 I'm truly grateful for the wonderful people I've met and the overall experience, and I can't wait to be back one day.

Nora è incredibile, molto gentile con gli altri, semplicemente una persona fantastica.
Il suo soggiorno è stato incredibile, ha esteso il soggiorno di quasi altri due mesi e non ha mai causato alcun problema, lavora molto bene, super proattiva, veloce e responsabile.
Avremmo solo voluto che rimanesse più a lungo.
Lei sarà un grande valore aggiunto ovunque.

Alex è un ragazzo fantastico, super intelligente, ha imparato tutto molto rapidamente e bene.
È davvero socievole, si è integrato bene con tutti; il suo soggiorno da noi è stato fantastico e lo consigliamo sicuramente per ulteriori esperienze di volontariato su Worldpackers.

I had a great time at the hostel! The managers are super friendly, there is a great vibe within the team and the work and hours are fair. You have enough free time to explore the surroundings and travel within Portugal, and you can indicate your preferred shifts and days off. Even when my travel plans changed the management was super friendly and understanding. Even tho I wasn't here for a long time, I enjoyed it a lot!

Manon non è rimasta molto tempo con noi; in passato Manon era già stata in un altro ostello e l'esperienza è stata così bella che le è mancata molto.
Si è avvicinata a noi e ha parlato di ciò che stava provando e, naturalmente, abbiamo sostenuto la sua decisione di tornare.
Durante il tempo in cui è rimasta, l'esperienza è andata molto bene e, si spera, ci rivedremo in futuro.
