La casa per gli ospiti rimarrà con me per il resto della mia vita. La città di Kyoto è incredibile e ci sono molte cose da fare, tuttavia la mia esperienza è stata dieci volte migliore grazie al Hana hostel. Le persone con cui lavorerai e con cui ti conoscerai sono incredibili e provengono da tutti gli ambienti. Tutti sono estremamente gentili, accoglienti e desiderosi di conoscerti. Il lavoro è impegnativo, ma piacevole; l'ostello in sé è uno spazio fantastico con molto spazio e offre diversi tipi di lavoro ogni giorno. Non potrei consigliarlo di più e la mia esperienza lì mi mancherà sempre.

I really enjoyed working with everyone and had a great time. I can recommand it to everyone that enjoys Kyoto or wants to visit for a longer time.

Overall, I had a good experience at the guest house. The staff is Japanese; a good environment to practice your Japanese and get tips for traveling. Also, everyone is really nice. There were a few downsides, though. They only have one volunteer stay at the hostel , so during my free time, it was just me, while at other volunteer jobs there were other volunteers to chat and hang out with. It can also get pretty noisy in the hostel and the room. You do get free coffee and tea, and can use the laundry machine and a bicycle for free. The location is very close to the station, which is a big plus.
