La famiglia di casa è incredibilmente accogliente e mi ha fatto sentire a casa. I figli adulti di Mirian e Ringo, Seba (Sebastian) e Vero (Veronica), e Mirian parlano inglese e spagnolo. Ho avuto una camera privata e comoda e ho condiviso il bagno al piano di sopra con Seba. Mirian e Vero mi hanno aiutato a pianificare attività divertenti come fare kayak e visitare le Paludi Iberá. Insegnare nella scuola è stato estremamente gratificante; mi è davvero piaciuto. Ho aiutato gli studenti con la pronuncia e ho risposto a domande di 'come si dice...?' mentre Mirian e Vero insegnavano le lezioni. Il livello di inglese degli studenti è davvero impressionante.

La mia esperienza a Goya è stata incredibile. Miriam e la sua famiglia sono stati incredibilmente accoglienti e sempre disposti ad aiutare in ogni momento. Per quanto riguarda l'insegnamento, ogni singolo studente che ho insegnato era desideroso di imparare e provare a sostenere una conversazione con me. L'istituto è un progetto così brillante, e ciò che ammiro di più è la costante spinta a migliorare i metodi di insegnamento per renderli il più comodi ed efficaci possibile per gli studenti. Consiglio vivamente ai viaggiatori di fermarsi, ne vale davvero la pena!

Ho trascorso due settimane in una casa di famiglia piena di risate e amore. Il tempo trascorso all'istituto è stato molto flessibile e gratificante. Se cerchi di immergerti nello stile di vita argentino e conoscere persone del posto, consiglierei vivamente questa esperienza.

Abbiamo amato il nostro tempo con Mirian e la sua famiglia, e siamo così grati per le due settimane trascorse con loro. Ci siamo sentiti così bene accolti e apprezzati fin dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, il lavoro era flessibile e la casa era incantevole. Mirian è incredibilmente gentile e generosa; non solo con noi come volontari ma anche con il tempo e la cura che dedica agli studenti dell'istituto. Lei e tutti gli insegnanti straordinari sono così meravigliosi! Ci è piaciuto partecipare ai corsi di inglese; chiacchierare con gli studenti e condividere conoscenze con loro ogni giorno. Grazie per averci ospitati, vi mancheremo tutti! xx

It is amazing how you can sometimes travel to the other part of the world and meet such like-minded people. We could talk for hours in English and Spanish even though my level of Spanish hardly reaches B1. It is amazing to see such a friendly and coherent family, so devoted to their institute, their mission. And also it was such a pleasure to see the faces of the students, who regardless of the financial hardships the country is facing, still have time and resources for education and self development. I am truly blessed to have had this experience as my first volunteering!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the family was incredibly kind and welcoming for the whole stay. While working at the english institute every teacher there was very enthusiastic and excited to teach and learn english. Our accommodation was also very nice, we had a private room and bathroom with ac that worked effectively. They cooked every meal for us and accommodated for our vegetarianism. I very much recommend applying!

Our stay here was amazing! They are the kindest most welcoming and loving family with the cutest dogs and cat🥰🥰The english institute we helped at is wonderful, Miriam and Vero work so hard and are amazing at what they do. The accomodation they gave us was very nice, with our own bathroom and much needed AC😂Even though they weren't vegetarian themselves, they would cook us veggie food everyday and we learnt lots of new recipes😋They became family to us and we are so grateful for this experience ❤️❤️

This experience changed the course of my life. The family is so incredibly lovely and warm and truly made me feel comfortable and like I was part of the family. I learned so much about teaching English and am now pursuing a career in teaching. I am so grateful for this opportunity to meet Goya, this family, and the students. I recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone with a passion for sharing language and culture

We stayed with Miriam, Vero and Ringo for 10 days at their lovely house. They are the most kind hearted family I've ever come across. They make you feel so welcome and part of the family. During our time we visited 3 different schools where Miriam works at. This was an amazing experience as all the schools are different and we spent time learning how Miriam and Vero teach their students. We also spent time meeting all the students and involving ourselves into the lessons. This was an unforgettable experience. They really treated us so well with amazing food and company.
