Raccomando vivamente questo progetto! Ho trascorso un periodo incredibile facendo volontariato nella fattoria con l'ospite Sourav. Lui è super accogliente, disponibile e sempre felice di insegnarti sulla vita in fattoria e il vivere sostenibile. Il posto si trova in un ambiente naturale bellissimo. Molto tranquillo, verde e perfetto per disconnettersi e ricaricarsi. Il cibo era fantastico — pasti freschi e fatti in casa ogni giorno. Il soggiorno era molto comodo e pulito. Si è sentito come a casa. Quello che rende speciale questo posto è che l'agricoltura, l'ambiente naturale e le unità energetiche sono tutte insieme in un unico posto. Qui ottieni una vera esperienza pratica.

Mi sono divertito molto alla fattoria. Siamo arrivati in un periodo estremamente caldo dell'anno, quindi abbiamo dovuto alzarsi presto e iniziare a lavorare prima del caldo. I compiti non erano troppo faticosi e li ho apprezzati molto. Questa fattoria dipende molto dai volontari: l'ospite, Saurabh, è una persona molto gentile e genuina e potrebbe aver bisogno di qualche mano extra. Mi è piaciuto particolarmente vivere con le mucche. Sono così dolci e calme. Nel complesso, un'esperienza incredibile.

Ho trascorso davvero un periodo molto piacevole facendo volontariato in questa fattoria. Il progetto è significativo e le ambizioni e la mentalità di Saurabh sono molto ispiranti. È un ottimo posto per disconnettersi dalle frenetiche città indiane e godersi uno stile di vita più semplice, tornando alle basi : lavorare, mangiare riso e dal, divertirsi con le mucche e dare riposo ed energia al corpo. È necessario venire con le giuste aspettative : è una vera vita agricola quotidiana in un villaggio indiano, con radici di alloggio e strutture. Volunteered here with my 15 year old daughter. It's a small farm with plans to build mud house, vegetable patch and cow sheds. All of this is yet to be ready so we spent most of our time decorating the bamboo shed used for living. The area is very beautiful so we walked around in the evening enjoying the lovely weather and fresh air. It was a good break from the city life for us and we loved the time spent together.

Piacere mettermi in contatto con te e Aabha. Siete fantastici, anche se è stata un’esperienza molto nuova e fuori dal vostro comfort. Molto felice del lavoro che siamo riusciti a fare insieme. Avete davvero fatto la differenza per noi. Sono benedetto di aver ricevuto un’energia così piacevole e felice di avervi ospitati; auguro a entrambi buona fortuna per i futuri progetti agricoli e nella vita.

The farm is good place to be with Nature, you can enjoy the greenery around rejuvenate your self. Saurabh the host was very helpful he is on mission to make a community with full of nature enthusiast. Its a must visit place if you like to spend time in village & nature, if you are comfortable to live with the natural way of living then you should backpack and be ready to venture this place.

Our stay at the farm was so great. We did enjoy our time at the farm. The host saurabh is so caring and helpful. He was always looking for our comfort and safety. He is an expert in organic farming and permaculture. We got to learn so many things from him. We did plant so many trees together. Meeting with locals and sharing our cultures was one of the best memories we will cherish for lifetime. Our stay was very comfortable though it is a tent stay but the views were so amazing. I would highly recommend staying at this farm if you love spending time in peaceful, calm location.

Spending time at the farm was definitely a great experience for us! Saurabh is very welcoming and really tried to make our stay as nice as possible. He taught us a lot about indian cultures and traditions as well as about ecofriendly living. The whole project is very young, therfore the living situation was basic and a lot of ideas for the farm are still in progress or are planned for the future - so required tasks could change over time. During our stay we helped with painting, restoring, building and farming. Also it was exciting to get an insight into the villagers lives around the farm.

We had the pleasure to spend 6 days on the farm at Desi Bhandu. Saurabh and his team (Baba) were great hosts and made us feel like we were at home. Saurabh told us about his vision and it will truly one day be something very special. Saurabh had us doing a wide range of tasks including farming, painting, building rock walls, and digging holes for a tree plantation. It was great to be doing something different almost every day. We also learnt about local Indian culture and traditions in the village which is something not every traveller gets to experience!
