The Experience

This Farm is my chance to give back what have made a difference in my life, when i used to serve in Tribal Villages of India, Nepal and Thailand. I would like to share my adventures and experience that transformed me, and help everyone who come in my contact to take the tools that helped me be a better person. In our Farm, volunteers will get a chance to learn about permaculture and get hands - on experience to do various farm activity.

Spending time at the farm was definitely a great experience for us! Saurabh is very welcoming and really tried to make our stay as nice as possible. He taught us a lot about indian cultures and traditions as well as about ecofriendly living. The whole project is very young, therfore the living situation was basic and a lot of ideas for the farm are still in progress or are planned for the future - so required tasks could change over time. During our stay we helped with painting, restoring, building and farming. Also it was exciting to get an insight into the villagers lives around the farm.

We had the pleasure to spend 6 days on the farm at Desi Bhandu. Saurabh and his team (Baba) were great hosts and made us feel like we were at home. Saurabh told us about his vision and it will truly one day be something very special. Saurabh had us doing a wide range of tasks including farming, painting, building rock walls, and digging holes for a tree plantation. It was great to be doing something different almost every day. We also learnt about local Indian culture and traditions in the village which is something not every traveller gets to experience!

I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly remarkable farm stay at the farm owned by Mr. Saurab. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that sustainable living and ecotourism were at the core of their operation. The commitment to preserving the environment is evident in every aspect of the farm. From the organic farming practices to the careful conservation of water and energy, I was truly impressed by the efforts made to ensure a minimal ecological impact. my experience at the farm was truly exceptional. Sourav and his team have created a farm stay that seamlessly combines sustainable
