A deeply enriching experience in this beautiful traditional Japanese house, perfectly located in Kyoto. I had a wonderful experience here. The other volunteers were nice but the hosts were even more friendly and welcoming and helpful… I would definitely recommend experiencing Kyoto here.

Chie e Roy sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti. La casa era anche impeccabile e confortevole. A volte la comunicazione tra Roy e Chie—or all’interno del gruppo in generale—non era perfettamente coordinata, ma è comprensibile e non è solo colpa loro. In generale, è stato un soggiorno davvero accogliente e piacevole.

I loved working at the guest house! Chie and Roy are incredible people who made me feel truly at home. They were always so caring, helping me with everything I needed. The guesthouse is a beautiful, and a great place to meet people from all over the world. The working hours were very fair, giving me plenty of time to explore Kyoto. I had fun with the team, cooking together and going on day trips. Chie and Roy also took us to lunch sometime, which was wonderful to talk about Japan's culture. It was the perfect first volunteering experience, and I will definitely come back. Arigato Gozaimasu <3
