YUAN was an amazing experience. We are very grateful with you guys, because you gave us many advices and info for enjoy our time in Kluang. Also they took us to different places where we had the chance to know more about the local life, how people works day by day and obviously made us closer to the asian culture. Hopefully you also are satisfied with our contribution even when it was not too much due to YUAN is a new hostel. All of you guys are very kind and we wish the best for you and your projects.

The hostel is located in a smallcity so the locals aren't that used to seeing tourists, but they are mostly welcoming.Be aware that the work is basically cleaning the common areas and welcoming guests and that's nice to see that they're trying to build a community space that's open for everyone.However, there weren't many guests so if you're looking for a more touristy/party experience you might get bored. Grazie per essere diventato il nostro volontario! Siamo lieti di sapere che ti sei divertito durante il tuo soggiorno a Kluang. L'atmosfera tranquilla della città e il suo autentico fascino locale ne fanno un'esperienza unica, perfetta per chi cerca una comunità piuttosto che la folla. Anche se non è molto turistica, offre un'opportunità speciale per entrare in contatto con i locali e godersi attività rilassanti come escursioni e serate di giochi. Ci auguriamo che tu possa tornarci a trovare presto!

The host never communicated with respect toward others,which made all the environment very awkward and uncomfortable. We would have to get up at 7am to do chores while he sat down and demand orders. The place was nice actually, too bad there were bedbugs, in which he said we weren't cleaning properly. There are no proper doors in the dorms, that means there is never a really good flow of fresh air or a consistent A/C. The only good thing about all this, are the other amazing volunteer that I met here. After 4 days, we all decided to leave this place.

La signorina Darincka è venuta al nostro ostello per un servizio di volontariato nella data effettiva, dopo aver compreso il nostro flusso di lavoro e le politiche tramite una conversazione ufficiale sulla piattaforma Workpacker. Sfortunatamente, ha usato la nostra offerta gratuita per pasti e alloggio, dopo aver visitato la città, e se n'è andata con un altro volontario.
La sua recensione non è veritiera, poiché ha semplicemente lasciato recensioni negative qui per evitarci di darle recensioni negative.
Poiché se ne è andata senza aver svolto alcun lavoro per noi, abbiamo deciso di contrassegnarla come No-show nel sistema per porre fine a questo intercambio inutile e privo di senso...

The hosts seemed really nice at first, but after a couple of hours I saw how they really are. From the first moment I arrived they were talking bad about other (past) volunteers and a current one who had an accident and broke their sink. They continuously shamed him in front of everyone and just made the environment unwelcoming and uncomfortable. There was also police involved (because of the sink) and so the environment got even worse. After that the host seemed pissed off and I felt unsafe. Left after 2 days without saying anything, just sending a message (rude ik but it felt safest)

Stiamo facendo del nostro meglio per perdonare ciò che Kai ci ha fatto e scegliere di commentare sul suo lavoro, soprattutto poiché crediamo sempre che non sia un modo giusto per mantenere rancori personali e continuare a litigare inutilmente tra di noi.
Anche se abbiamo trattato con molti viaggiatori e volontari tutto questo tempo, in particolare abbiamo anche l'abitudine di restare in altri posti come volontari prima di iniziare questo ostello, questa è la nostra prima volta ad incontrare una volontaria così irrispettosa e irresponsabile come Kai, che ha anche il coraggio di parlare male del suo ospite che le ha offerto pasti gratuiti e 2 giorni di alloggio in una camera climatizzata, anche se ha rifiutato di svolgere il suo compito come posizione di Contenuti Multimediali e se ne è andata improvvisamente mentre il responsabile dormiva ancora per recuperare dal caos causato da lei.
Infatti, tutte le sue lamentele nella sua recensione sono state create da lei e sono iniziate da lei.
Per mantenere il principio sopra dichiarato, abbiamo deciso di tenere privata la storia vera e di dare il benvenuto a quegli host interessati ad ospitare Kai; inviateci un messaggio privato in modo da poter aiutare l'host a prendere una decisione.
