Overall I had a really positive experience at the hostel. Portimão is a little too quiet for me but it's really central within the hostel region and great to reach other locations. The hostel itself is a little far from the beach, so if you come here be ready to uber a lot. The volunteers room is a little small but has everything you might need, and luckily I shared it with some awesome girls, who were definitely the highlight of my experience. The hostel and restaurant staff are also super lovely and available. I would totally recommend it!

The hostel was my first WPs and I had SUCH a lovely time! Ana was communicative and easy to contact. The room was cozy, and we had a few issues with making sure the space was clean/kitchen amenities were working, but Ana was helpful and accomodating our needs. I had never waitressed before, but the support staff is SO INCREDIBLE. It could get busy and stressful at times, and I could forsee it being more stressful in high season. However, the full time workers are awesome and the customers were always nice. Portimao was quiet, but the beaches are UNREAL. It's easy to travel to nearby towns towns too!

I had a great experience at the hostel! The hostel was really nice, and so were the people who worked there. The work was good, it did came with a bit more responsibility than I expected, but once I got the hang of it, everything went really well. The best part of my experience was definitely the other volunteers. We had so much fun together, made lots of great memories, and always found something fun to do. We really became a great group, which made the whole experience so much better. I'm really happy I got the chance to be part of it!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena :) todo el equipo es super agradable por lo que da gusto trabajar alli. Conocí mucha gente y el equipo de voluntarias se convirtieron en grandes amigas! , sin dudas recomiendo la experiencia para toda persona que busque conocer la maravillosa zona del hostel.

Fue mi primera experiencia haciendo un voluntariado con worldpackers y no pude haber elegido un mejor lugar. el hostel me brindo mucha felicidad durante toda mi estadia, en donde pude conectar tanto con personas que trabajan en el hostel como las que se hospedan. Ana siempre estuvo antenta ante cualquier cosa que necesitemos e hizo que mi experiencia sea memorable. Siempre recordare el hostel y Portimão❤️

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Met friends that I'll keep for life, worked with amazing and caring people, practiced my english and even learnt some portuguese. Working at the restaurant is proper work, but it is so much fun and you get to meet lots of new people. It is great if you want to get more experience serving. I'd definitely recommend this volunteering if you want to explore the hostel, it is the most beautiful place. I will miss Cleiton, Anna, Leonela, James, José and Ezequiel ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering at the hostel. I worked reception and I would say it takes about a week and a half to feel really confident in the job (there's just lots to learn!). If you enjoy making your own systems to stay organized, you'll love it! Schedules are given in advance so you can plan your two days off. Team apartment is very small but workable if you stay clean and organized. Overall, I would recommend volunteering here if you're interested in exploring the hostel, meeting new friends, and experiencing what it's like to work in Portugal. Thanks for everything Ana!

My time at the hostel has been absolutely amazing! The communication beforehand was very straightforward and everything was exactly as described (tasks, housing etc). The hostel itself is beautiful with a nice pool. The volunteer area is small (so don't expect to have a ton of personal space) but cozy, airconditioned and has everything you need. Cleiton and Anna have been really nice and are easy to work with! The best thing about it were the other girls volunteering, it truly is such a bonding experience. I would love to be back!

I felt blessed that i got to live this experience, this was my first volunteering and i couldn't have asked for anything better. The whole team was really sweet and wellcoming. Massive thanks to Cleiton who was a pleasure to work with! I met such wonderful people, made a bunch of memorable memories and enjoyed the beaches as much as possible! I will definitely miss my time here. Muito obrigada the hostel!

I had a great experience at the hostel! Ana and Cleiton were extremely helpful and nice. I worked at the reception and social media and it was a little stressful at first but once I got the hang of it it was easy and chill! You get 2 days off in a row which was amazing to do trips from Portimão. The volunteer quarters did get dirty and messy fast so the only downside was it not always being cleaned regularly.
