The Center is a very special and warm place. The people who constantly live there are welcoming and generous. Kelsey was caring, always interested on the well-being of us volunteers and We loved the environment, swimming in the lake, digging in the garden and alsooo filming and taking pictures. Even tough producing content was sometimes hard, working in the nature gave us the perfect variety.💖⭐️ we felt appreciated and emilia really did enjoy teaching yoga🧘♀️ and we enjoyed joining a yoga class of kelsey. emilia and i, we will come back

E&J hanno portato un'ondata di felicità e cordialità che ha sollevato tutti intorno a loro. Un volontario ha detto di non aver mai incontrato qualcuno di così felice come Josephine e il suo umorismo è impagabile. Emilia ha condiviso lo yoga con noi e ha creato spazi belli, sicuri e accoglienti. Mi è davvero piaciuto lavorare con loro e apprezzo tutti i loro contributi e consigli mentre sviluppiamo il nostro marketing e non vedo l'ora del loro ritorno il prossimo ottobre! Ci mancate! I spent three weeks in this wonderful place, surrounded by locals and other international travelers. The experience of meeting these people and living with them was amazing. I learnt tips about gardening and home crafts that may be useful. The place is ideal to connect with nature, but it is very remote and there's no buses on week-ends. I recommend it highly if you aim to retreat yourself among nature, but if you're a city dweller, who wants to visit Sweden, the task will be challenging.

Anais è una delle poche volontarie che ha trovato la sua strada qui usando i mezzi pubblici! È diventata la nostra principale addetta al giardino. È una volontaria dedicata e ha messo tanto amore nel giardino. Sorride sempre ed è amichevole con le altre volontarie mentre condividono la cucina e i pasti. Era entusiasta di conoscere la cultura e di esplorare le attività. Siamo grati per il suo aiuto :)

It was a really enjoyable experience volunteering at the Center! I got to da diverse range of tasks and everyone I met are very nice and always open to talk. I've endless to share about the new experiences I made here but I'd miss chatting with locals, walking around nature and cooking together the most!

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere Tippi con noi e di vederla aprirsi a noi. È arrivata in mezzo al folle festival di musica folk, con gente ovunque, e si è gettata subito a sostenerci in tutto quel trambusto. Era attiva e divertente e pronta a vivere, esplorare, imparare e fare esperienza del mondo che la circonda. Siamo stati toccati dalla sua capacità di connettersi con gli anziani e di tornare a trovarci ogni volta che sente la nostra mancanza e ha bisogno di una pausa dai suoi studi. Grazie, Tippi!

The Center community was such a great experience! Kels was lovely and share with me always the best energy. Also, I was grateful for the clarity with the tasks and schedule. In my case I worked on the garden, was such a great experience, also therapeutic putting your hands on the soil. They have all the tools for you to work properly and with joy. I miss the raining boots now hahaha PD: Monday activities are the best to bond and discover the team. Thaaaaaank yoooooou!

Gabriela è una volontaria da sogno :) Piena di vita e di positività, saprà rallegrare chiunque. Ha fatto un lavoro fantastico nel giardino, prova dei suoi talenti creativi che riflettono cura e diligenza nei suoi compiti, qualunque cosa abbia fatto. Non vediamo l'ora di rivederla qui con noi ogni volta che avrà tempo per tornare nella nostra vita familiare qui e in tutte le connessioni che ha creato. Grazie, Gabi!

Cristina ci ha visitato insieme al suo amico Hugo. Lei è calorosa, capace e pronta a tutto. È stata di grande aiuto con un grande cuore e ha davvero apprezzato la dolce bellezza di questo posto. Amici molto maturi e avventurosi che hanno facilmente portato a termine i compiti e si sono presi cura del loro spazio.

I first want to thank all the people I met in Stjärnsund that permit me to get more and more involved in the Center. I am especially grateful to Kelsey, Eva and Stefan that were always available and here to communicate on the work. They care about you and how you are feeling and will be understanding. The hours are really flexible, we could create our own schedule, except if some tasks had the be made in priority. The work was not too demanding and the instructions were clear. Volunteers could help in the kitchen in order to get some free food. I could try yoga, explore the lakes and forests.

Anthony è stato un piacere ospitarlo. Ha lavorato molto bene con tutti, soprattutto con l'altro volontario. È una persona fantastica da avere intorno e non ha avuto alcun problema ad tuffarsi nelle attività e a occuparsi. Ci mancherà e speriamo di riaccoglierlo un giorno!! Grazie per la tua visita :)

As a new WP member, I couldn't have asked for a better first experience! Kelsey & Stephan have been amazing and extremely welcoming from the moment we met; as well as everyone else in the community. As for the work itself, tasks are varied & clearly communicated & the 4-hours daily workload can be quite flexible. During my time off, I had the chance to enjoy yoga, walks on the lake, connect with the beautiful nature, meet locals, enjoy live music as well as my first ever Midsommar. This has truly been an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to fellow WPs. Tack igen för allt :)

This was one of the best volunteering experience that I ever had. It was the perfect opportunity to explore the Swedish countryside. The nature around is amazing with its forests, lakes, islands and what not, there's so much to explore. The work was usually outside, mostly physical - so challenging but manageable. I got to learn a lot about forest gardening and got to try new skills like wood chopping, grass cutting etc. Kelsey and the whole village is very kind, generous and welcoming that it felt like home. It's definitely a place that I would love to go back to:)

Swetha è così divertente, super socievole e intelligente!! Riesce davvero a concentrarsi sul compito e a proporre idee e soluzioni. I've spend the last two weeks in this place and let me tell you,it was truly amazing. From the people to the work we did, I could not imagine a better first experience. Kelsey, who is responsible for volunteers was so kind and really appreciated everything we did. Plus her yoga sessions were Medizin for my body, after it I could feel the gratefulness vibrating in my body. Everyone i met there was so open and kind, i felt welcomed and safe. This experience will nurture your inner child and from jumping in the lake to running and dancing with other wounderful volunteers you will have it all <3

Chantel è letteralmente un raggio di sole... il suo sorriso e la sua risata scaldano il cuore ed è un vero piacere averla tra noi. Ci è piaciuto molto il suo soggiorno, è arrivata proprio quando ne avevamo bisogno e ha aiutato a sfamare il team di volontari quando il nostro cuoco ha dovuto lasciare presto. Si è adattata immediatamente al gruppo di volontari che avevamo e ha condiviso la sua creatività ogni volta che ne abbiamo avuto l'opportunità. Non vediamo l'ora di riaverla tra noi!

My experience in the Center absolutely exceeded my expectations. Me and my friend stayed for month and enjoyed every second of it. Everyone welcomed us with open arms/hearts and saying goodbye wasn't easy at all. We worked as dream team of 5 volunteers in garden for 4,5h per day (weekends off) and helped around the house with anything was needed. Cutting wood/grass, gardening, cleaning property and much more. We got a chance to join yoga classes, do many trips around the area and have fun during and outside of working hours. I 100% recommend this experience, thank you for everything <3

Iva è incredibilmente brava a comunicare. Responsabile e in grado di prendersi cura di molte cose. Lei è consapevole e molto disponibile. Una persona dal cuore grande e con un'ottima attitudine. Avere Iva e la sua amica Voyta è stata una delle migliori esperienze di volontariato che abbiamo avuto :) Adesso è difficile vivere senza di loro :) Vi auguro tutto il meglio!!! Non vediamo l'ora di incontrarvi di nuovo mentre il vostro viaggio continua!
