Ho trascorso sei settimane qui e ho amato ogni momento! Amanda è davvero adorabile e tutti gli animali sono molto dolci! Preparati a un lavoro duro, ma il tuo aiuto e impegno sono davvero necessari e apprezzati alla fattoria! C'è sempre qualcosa da fare o da qualche parte dove andare: vedere un festival di danza nel villaggio o visitare bellissime spiagge nel mio giorno di riposo! Se stai pensando di dare una mano, fallo pure - lo consiglierei sicuramente a chi ama i cavalli, la vita all'aperto o gli animali! Tornerò sicuramente in questo posto meraviglioso!!!

Il posto e l'Amanda ti accolgono a braccia aperte, il silenzio, la calma e la natura diventano parte di te. Le attività facili, le mie ore sono sempre state rispettate così come i miei giorni, ho avuto l'opportunità di connettermi e conoscere persone meravigliose, di connettermi con me stesso. Questo è un grande progetto, e ne vale davvero la pena. E se stai cercando te stesso e come contribuire, questa è una grande opportunità di volontariato, che proprio necessita di supporto a partire da aprile 2026 in poi. È semplicemente magnifica. Pace e amore per tutti.

Mi è piaciuto molto il mio tempo presso la fattoria e ho prolungato il soggiorno. Le cure eccellenti per i ponies sono in primo piano. Amanda ha conoscenze in molti campi, ma tempo limitato — non mi sono reso conto di quanto lavoro sia necessario per gestire un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro. I giorni seguono una routine, organizzata con compiti manuali chiari. Devi impegnarti per 4/5 ore per sfruttarlo al massimo. I tre cani da salvataggio energetici hanno bisogno di tempo per abituarsi a nuove persone e a limiti rigorosi, ma sono adorabili. La stanza è semplice ma ha tutto il necessario, l'area offre pace e tranquillità e un cielo notturno mozzafiato. Il cibo è saporito e nutriente. La spiaggia è vicina e il paese è a 10 km, è facile fare l'autostop!

I really enjoyed my time at skyros. I think there was enough work and enough free time. One day a week was a free day when I could go to the city or the beach. I recommend this place to everyone who likes horses and simple and peacefull life style.

I'm glad I could support Amanda's and Stathis incredible project. They care for their animals more than well. The work and accommodation is as described and the area is very pretty. It's a good opportunity if you are looking for a place to calm down and be around lots of animals. I liked the volunteer team, it was always nice and I met great people :)

It's a great place. Amanda and Stathie are nice people and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The work can be hard if you're not used to it. But you will gain strength during your time here. I was supposed to stay for 2 months but instead I stayed 4, so I definitely recommend it.

I stayed at Amanda and Stathis' farm for two months. Both of them are incredibly kind and welcoming, treating their volunteers with much respect and open hearts. Their dedication to the project is mind-blowing. They both give their all and still go above and beyond to care for not only the many beautiful horses, but all the animals they have taken into their care. The farm is a place where you can truly learn more about yourself, while also never getting too bored as there is always something to do or discover around the farm/island. I had a wonderful time there and would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm where the horses and other animals are treated with so much respect and care. The work is mucking out, feeding and giving water to the horses etc.. It is physically hard work but very rewarding. Food is super delicious. The living area is rustic and simple. At the farm you will have alot of time to think and reflect and in the freetime you can go to the beach, go to the taverna, go to the church and go on walks. I stayed for 7 weeks but could have stayed longer. Elin

I stayed at the farm with Amanda and Stathis for 2 weeks to put up a fence. Overall was an amazing opportunity to truly experience the local day to day. It is obvious that these animals are cared for at the highest possible level and they are always at the forefront of the farm's decisions. I felt the experience was advertised well and didn't have any surprises with accommodations. If you are comfortable in the elements and enjoy nature than this will be a perfect fit!

I had a wonderful time at Amanda's! the ponies (and the other animals) are more than well cared for, you can really see that Amanda and Stathis are real animal lovers & have dedicated their life to this project, very inspiring! not only their animals are treated with respect, but it's the same with us volunteers, I felt very welcome. the work is fair and easy but still important (e.g. mucking out, filling up waters). unfortunately, i injured my ankle and decided to leave to get treatment (I've had problems with this before, so i had to be careful). Amanda was very understanding & supportive:)
