Questa è stata la nostra seconda esperienza di volontariato con Marye e Jamie, ed è stata ancora migliore della prima. Amiamo davvero questo posto tranquillo, dove abbiamo imparato così tanto, non solo l'inglese, ma anche nuove competenze ed esperienze preziose. Sono incredibilmente gentili, accoglienti e sempre disponibili ad aiutare. Ci è piaciuto molto passare tempo con loro. Sono pazienti e di supporto, specialmente quando ci aiutano a migliorare il nostro inglese. Siamo davvero grati per tutto ciò che hanno fatto. Ci hanno fatto sentire come una famiglia. Raccomandiamo molto questa esperienza di volontariato e saremmo felici di tornarci. Grazie! ☺️❤️

We couldn't have asked for a better Wordlpackers experience. From the moment we arrived, Marie and Jamie welcomed us like a family. Very quickly, a relationship built on trust, kindness,and friendship was created, making it very hard to say goodbye. The caravan is rustic but comfortable, and it quickly became our little home. The work was varied, interesting, and rewarding. We learned many practical and manual skills that we had never had a chance to discover before, and we truly enjoyed every project. But what made this experience unforgettable was the people. Marie and Jamie are amazing

Marie e le sue figlie erano calorose e accoglienti, e ho apprezzato la loro gentilezza. Tuttavia, il ruolo differiva significativamente da quello descritto, con la maggior parte del tempo trascorso a pulire la casa, che era in cattivo stato, anziché occuparmi degli animali. Lo standard di pulizia, a mio avviso, non era adatto ai volontari e necessita di lavoro professionale. Dopo aver discusso la possibilità di partire prima, l'atmosfera è diventata scomoda, quindi ho scelto di andarmene prima del previsto. La roulotte era funzionale e veniva fornito un sussidio alimentare, ma nel complesso non ritengo che sia stato un scambio equo e non lo consiglierei.

Questa recensione è stata scritta per scusare la sua inaffidabilità e immaturità emotiva. Partita dopo soli 5 giorni di lavoro, dicendo di avere la malinconia di casa e, quindi, lasciandoci in difficoltà. Portare a spasso i cani per 90 minuti al giorno è chiaramente cura degli animali!

Ho adorato il mio tempo a casa! Marie e Jamie sono persone così gentili e mi sono sentito valorizzato. Le attività erano divertenti e c\'era molta varietà, quindi non è mai stata noiosa!

Marie and Jamie were amazing hosts! While I didn't stay with them and their family, I did stay in the house I was working at in another English Village nearby. Marie and Jamie visited often to check in on how I was doing, help with any questions I had on my projects, and do some of their own work on the house/garden. I really did learn a lot while in Woodbury and now have much more of an appreciation for brickwork when I see it in my every day life. My main tasks focused on cleaning bricks of cement/old mortar and building new brick walls (Jamie taught me how to do it all!).

Jamie and Marie were lovely hosts. My partner and I were given varied work and we enjoyed spending time with their family. Every day was a bit different which we appreciated and the town of Churchinford is very nice (though small!) We would recommend this stay to all WorldPackers.

We had a great time working at Tumble Down. The work was very enjoyable, we learnt loads and everyday was something different. Jamie and Marie were very kind, understanding and flexible of working times.

Maria and Jamie were great hosts, the work was as expected and they were happy to let us tag along to the nearby towns on our days off. I would recommend this to traveler's who want a true rural experience :)

We had a great time at Tumble down. Marie and Jaime were welcoming into their home and were great fun. They were very easy to talk to and kept you informed about upcoming work. The work was as described. We did different things all the time and they were very flexible on weather dependent work. The sleeping arrangements were nice and private from anyone surrounding, there was a private bathroom and room with single bunk beds. And the surrounding nature was lovely to be immersed in during our stay.
