Ho appena passato il miglior verano all'hostel! Prenotare un ostello riservato alle donne è stata sicuramente la migliore decisione. Ho davvero apprezzato il modo in cui il lavoro era organizzato: il carico di lavoro era uguale, i manager erano flessibili, e avevamo molta libertà nell'organizzare eventi e nel creare contenuti per i social media. Ma soprattutto è stata un'esperienza umana incredibile in un ambiente così accogliente e divertente. Incontrare ospiti da tutto il mondo ogni giorno, condividere l'esperienza con altri volontari, e essere supportati da un team di accoglienza così gentile ha reso l'intera esperienza davvero speciale 🌟

L'ostello è stato un ottimo ambiente e ho davvero apprezzato il mio tempo lì! Il team era così accogliente e caloroso, sempre disposto ad aiutare i volontari con qualsiasi domanda. Il lavoro era divertente, soprattutto gli eventi serali con gli ospiti, e le ore di lavoro settimanali sono sempre state rispettate.

Nel complesso, ho avuto una grande esperienza di volontariato. La parte migliore è stata senza dubbio le persone che ho incontrato; ho fatto amicizie incredibili con gli altri volontari, e Ashley e Brandy alla reception sono stati sempre così gentili, accoglienti e disponibili. Il carico di lavoro mi è sembrato complessivamente equo, anche se non abbiamo ottenuto i due giorni di pausa elencati sulla piattaforma, e potresti essere contattata occasionalmente nel tuo giorno di riposo. Come viaggiatrice in solitaria, personalmente non mi sono sentita molto sicura nell'area, ci sono stati alcuni incidenti di sicurezza a causa della posizione dell'ostello che mi hanno fatto sentire insicura, soprattutto lavorando di notte.

L'ostello è bello, la stanza dei volontari è super comoda, e il lavoro in sé è davvero piacevole — sia alla reception, nell'organizzazione di eventi o nei contenuti per i social media ✨ Ho incontrato così tante persone incredibili durante il mio soggiorno, e un ringraziamento speciale a Jascy, Ricardo, Brandy e agli altri volontari con cui ho condiviso l'esperienza 💕 C'erano un paio di problemi con la stanza e alcune situazioni che avrebbero potuto essere gestite meglio con una comunicazione più chiara, ma nel complesso sono davvero grato per l'esperienza e per tutte le persone adorabili che ho avuto il piacere di conoscere xx 💐

I'm incredibly grateful for this experience! This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers, and everything went so nicely. The female-only hostel environment is amazing, and the team was always kind and communicative. The workload was fair and well-balanced, giving me plenty of free time to explore the city and enjoy my stay. All tasks were clearly explained and easy to manage, and I especially appreciated the creative freedom we had when it came to organizing events and creating content. I had a really lovely experience volunteering here! The work exchange was well-structured with weekly feedback that kept everything clear and organized. I enjoyed being able to suggest and host our own events and also contribute to social media since it was a fun way to be creative and strengthen my event management skills. The volunteers' room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I'm grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers looking for a great work exchange in Amsterdam!

I had a fantastic experience volunteering at the hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel at home right away. The hostel has a warm, friendly atmosphere and a great sense of community. The work was well-organized and fair, with clear expectations and support when needed. I appreciated the opportunity to learn new skills, meet amazing people from all over the world, and contribute to the day-to-day operations in a meaningful way. The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm glad it was here! The environment of a women-only hostel is what makes this place so special. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from the start, especially Chrystella, Rania, and Jassy, who helped me throughout my time here. I not only made great friends with other volunteers, but also had the chance to meet guests from all over the world. Overall they are very flexible with your work schedule and give you creative input on the events you want to host. I'm grateful for this opportunity, as it will always hold a special place in my heart:D
