we are a new, stylish medium size hostel with a garden and loads of activities & unique atmosphere. to get to the center is so easy, but still, we are a bit different from those hostels, we have our own garden so we spend most of our time there!
10 years working in Hostels, several volunteer positions I did myself and working with more then 100 volunteers, I have seen many cases already. Some of my ex-coleagues are my closest friends now!

Mi primer voluntariado y fue muy agradable, lo pase bien y conocí gente maravillosa tanto huéspedes como voluntarios. Sin duda lo recomiendo para quien quiera venir a Budapest, el hostal es muy tranquilo y bueno el jardín es un plus. De todas maneras si bien está alejado del centro es muy cerca desde mi punto de vista.
La verdad estoy feliz de haber podido estar acá.

The experience was one of a kind. If you want to explore budapest and surrounding then this is the place for you. Work hours are respected and you will have enough time to explore the city . Balazs is a wonderful host. He is also traveller and he is a witty man , have knowledge about history , culture, society and lots. I loved having conversation with him about almost everything. IF you are thing about volunteering in budapest , then this is the place!!

Volunteering here was a lot of fun! The hostel is out of the city, so the day to day is really relaxed. Would recommend!

Muy feliz de haber estado en garden hostel! Se siento como en casa, todo muy acogedor y lo mejor el jardín donde se puede platicar con las demás viajeros. Aveces hacíamos fogatas y siempre había muy buena vibra.
Las horas de trabajo son siempre las acordadas y Balasz siempre es muy flexible. Recomiendo mucho este hostal! Gracias por todo!

The hostel was super fun, It is not very far from the city, and public transportation in Budapest is great!
Balasz is super nice and would always listen to the volunteers and try to be flexible when possible.
Tasks are not hard, and the shifts aways respected. We get to know our shifts and days off 1 week ahead which is also great.
You get to interact with guests a lot, so there’s many opportunities to make friendships as well.
Overall I would recommend the Garden Hostel!
