The experience

Dingup House is an historic homestead c1870 situated on a farm in Western Australia’s South West. The nearest town in Manjimup. The homestead is on 14 acres and runs sheep. We have pet goats and lambs, chickens and a very cute dog named Lola. We are a family and welcome our volunteers into our home.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 20 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers are provided a private room with shared bathroom. We provide all meals, and utilities.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers are expected to assist in the daily running of the BnB and farm work. They are required to work up 4 hrs five days a week with two days off.
They will need to be flexible with hours depending on bookings.
The work varies from housekeeping, to kitchen duties , gardening and looking after farm animals.

Rules

We like our volunteers to engage with the guests and interact with us during social occasions. You have plenty of free time and we are happy to spend time with you exploring the area. Volunteers need to have a high cleaning standard, be reliable and respectful.
