The experience

Some places give you a bed. QBee gives you a seat at the table.
We're a small shared home in Pasay — part hostel, part homestay, part neighborhood. Meals get cooked together. Stories get told over them. You'll meet locals who don't usually appear on tourist routes, and travelers who'll still message you a year from now.
You're not here to work. You're here to be part of something that's already alive.

Program Details

Here, life moves at the pace you choose.
Some days it feels like a hostel. Some days a homestay. Sometimes a small neighborhood hub where people just show up — neighbors, kids from the community, travelers passing through. Nothing staged. Nothing forced.
Expect warm conversations, slow afternoons, simple food cooked together, and the kind of moments you'll still talk about years from now.
This place tends to draw people who:

Want slow travel, not a packed itinerary
Enjoy social energy without party pressure
Choose real culture over tourist bubbles
Value shared meals and long, honest conversations
Want to give something back while they explore

If that sounds like you, you'll feel it within the first evening.

Activities & Shift

Your contribution — light, real, and entirely yours
No special skills needed. Just good energy and presence.

Keep shared spaces calm and welcoming
Help new arrivals feel at home
Join simple meal prep or evening snacks
Come along on community visits, island days, or coastal cleanups
Share moments online — your voice, your style
Bring your culture, your music, your ideas
Sometimes the most valuable thing you do is just be present

🌞 Rhythm & Flow
Around 15 hours a week · 2 full days off · plenty of time to explore Pasay or rest
We keep it lighter when the group's energy calls for it.
💛 Community Days
Every week, something real outside these walls.
Crazy Island 🌀 or Beacon Island — a full day of:
Feeding kids · coastal cleanups · island life · honest Filipino culture · unexpected human moments
This is why QBee exists. Connection through doing, not watching.

The daily ₱399 — what you're really stepping into

Your time covers your stay. The ₱399 a day isn't a fee — it's how the house keeps running and how the community work keeps happening.
It feeds the kids in the feeding program. It funds the coastal cleanups. It buys the rice, the fish, the vegetables for the meals we cook together. It welcomes the next volunteer the same way you were welcomed.
You're not paying for a bed. You're stepping into something already in motion — and your presence keeps it in motion for the person coming after you

The home itself
Shared bunks with privacy curtains and AC. Breakfast and dinner cooked together — never from a convenience store. Drinking and shower water always available. Fast Wi-Fi for the digital nomads passing through. Dedicated workspace. Full kitchen if you want to cook. Free laundry. Nothing fancy. Just a real home that works.

Rules

🤍 The feeling
Meals shared. Evenings social — sometimes calm, sometimes lively.
Usually 3 to 5 volunteers, plus travelers and locals coming through.
Around 10 people total most days. Enough to feel alive. Small enough to know every name by your second evening.

🌏 What's around Pasay
Intramuros · BGC new town · oldest Chinatown in the world · sunset walks · street food · basketball with locals · museums · swimming pool · freediving · island day trips · snorkeling · rock climbing · long midnight conversations at home (honestly, underrated)
Most of this is organized in-house. No tour agency needed. Just say yes.

Simple home. Simple agreements.

Clean up after yourself
Respect quiet hours at night
No drugs. No heavy drinking
Tell us if you're tired, sick, or just need space — we'd rather know
Show up for shared moments
Ask before bringing outsiders in
No sex on the property

We're not running a strict operation. We're running a home.
Everyone here chose to be part of it — so everyone helps keep it good.
