Getting to know Marrakech, a culture so different from ours, was the best thing. The hostel's location is right in the middle of the old medina (very central) and you'll quickly get used to the path and the narrow streets.
the daily work time limit is respected but the tasks do not always comply with what is described in the app. several days I did cleaning
The member staff (housekeepers and reception) is very kind and.welcoming
I can't say the same about the host Xavier, I didn't feel welcome by him and I didn't even feel that my work was valued. Sometimes he is very rude.

Equity Point is right in the middle of it all in the Medina! You'll definitely get familiar with the streets real quick.
Work here is split between three shifts.
AM BUFFET HELP
AFTERNOON KITCHEN HELP
PM BARTEND AND DINNER HELP
Every staff member was super nice, even if there was a language barrier you feel as though you're at home.
The worldpackers room is smaller than I wouldve expected and can be quite stuffy because of where its located.
Tasks are super easy, definitely experience all you can while in the heart of it all!

Paradise! ❤️ The staff is the best people you can ever meet. ❤️ The hostel is like a palace. Very beautiful, very clean, in the center and the task is quite easy. You will have a lot of time for yourself. And you will have the chance to meet great people that will give you hope about the planet 🌏 Great hearts exist. And they live in one hostel in Morocco.

I had an amazing time in enquity point. The hostel is beautiful, I always felt at home. The staff was lovely, they treated me as family. A unique and unforgettable experience.

Just as you can see in the advertise, that's not a hostel, it's a palace!
Lots of common areas, a pool, great vibes and beyond amazing food!

I would totally recommend this experience, the whole team was helpful and super kind. The task were easy and chilled. Morocco is a fascinating country with an enriching culture and lots of interesting things to learn.

Amazing experience!!
It was an incredible experience and full of learning.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and friends, who have helped me a lot. I will miss all of them.
The hostel is very good and has a great structure, I had good times at Equity Point.
They comply exactly with what they promise in the job description. Work is easy and fun.
I recommend volunteering.

I had a really great time at Equity Point!! The best thing was the staff and the hostel itself. The hours and tasks are a little different than advertised. It is more work in the restaurant and kitchen, but for me it was fine. Just good to know :)

I cannot express how great my experience at Equity Point was! I was the only volunteer during most of my stay but the staff welcomed me (and presented me their culture) with such love and care that I felt home from day one! My job was to help at the restaurant and bar, usually during breakfast and lunch hours. That means that you always have half day off and since the hostel is really well located, you can see a lot of the amazing city that Marrakech is. I also have to point that the hostel itself is beautiful and very comfortable. If you wanna know more, feel free to send me a message!

I had a really nice experience at Equity Point. Xavier was on vacation when I arrived, so my hosts were actually Nadia and Fatima. Most of the time I was there, I had a room all to myself, with a lot of space and a really good bathroom. There's a huge language barrier, because the staff only speaks arabic. However, the girls were always kind to me and we were able to work together. I worked with breakfast and sometimes during the evening and got to meet some cool travelers. Marrakech is a crazy place, so be sure to ask for some tips before walking around the Medina!
