The experience

You will be a part of the best hostel in Croatia and your contribution will help to keep this place special!
We are looking for people who are responsible and ready to work hard but know that your good work and positive energy will be noticed and rewarded!
Nothing too complicated but along the way you will have an amazing time and leave with a lot of stories to tell!

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 22 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Croatia

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

SHIFTS
-you work 5 days a week, 2 days off OR 4 days a week, 3 days off, depending on the current number of volunteers
-you work 5 hours a day, have in mind that on some days it can be extra crazy and the reception will need your help longer or in random situations and we need for you to help
-in the time you don't work it is still considered that if you live here you make sure you are a good roommate, who will clean after yourself or help another roommate with something if necessary (for example if you are free but a guest asks you some questions, you won't ignore them)
-morning - 10-15 h, depending on the current workload and duties around the hostel

Activities & Shift

VOLUNTEER TASKS

- you help our team in housekeeping
- usually, the morning shift helps with housekeeping, cleaning the reception, with guests, and checking things around the hostel, but mostly it's a housekeeping shift and you are meant to be the receptionist's right-hand
- help at the evening event if necessary
