The Experience

I have a house in the countryside 55 km from Valencia. I'm looking for someone who wants to exchange work in the field and small tasks for lodging and full board; also able to do language exchange. I speak English, French and Italian. Four days of work, five hours per day, and the rest of the time is free. I have a bicycle you can use.

My experience at this place was absolutely amazing. House and its surrounding is a very good energy that helps you rest and evolve. I'm really grateful that I could come to this place. Joana is an amazing, carrying and big hearted person. She helped me improve me Spanish a lot, and was always very happy as I was progressing.
She also taught me how to make a real Valencian paella.
I felt like at home.
I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful experience for my first WorldPacker stay. Juana has a lovely home in the mountains near Valencia. She takes care and pride in making people feel welcomed in her home. I met several groups and individuals from Argentina and Spain and had the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish. Juana speaks English very well and acted as translator and host. The work was invigorating as it involved helping to cultivate her land with many types of fruit trees, olive trees and other beautiful plantings. I learned much about the area from her as she has lived in the area for many years!

Our experience at the home has been delightful! Juana is an outstanding cook and the perfect host, very friendly and kind. She taught us spanish and how to make Paella and Sangria! She brought us to her chorus practice and to some really beautiful places. It has been the best experience we could ask. Very recommended!

This was such a wonderful experience !! the home is such a magical place, with a thousand cute little nooks ! Juana is amazing, in less than 2 weeks she became like a grandmother to me 🫶 If you love nature, food (she's an incredible cook) and long talks at sunset, then this is the volunteering for you !

During the trip, I felt at home with my grandmother. On the first day of my stay, I cooked wood-fired Paella with Juanna's friends. This was the most delicious Paella I have ever had. I am very lucky to have had such an experience. Juanna is a real master of cooking. Every day, thanks to Juana, we ate various Spanish and not only dishes. It was very tasty. Breakfast overlooking the dawn in the mountains was a separate kind of enjoyment. In her free time, Juanna showed me beautiful places around the village, and once even took me to a rehearsal in the choir. I learned to sing church songs in La
