It was my first experience of volunteering and I couldn't have hoped for better! Sophie is welcoming and attentive, her family who drop in from time to time are very kind, and I got on very well with the other volunteers! The work isn't too difficult, there are several tasks and I've learnt a lot. It's a wonderful place, with a view over the whole city, surrounded by nature, and close to beautiful towns to visit! I had a very comfortable room and the food is excellent! I would recommend 100%! (And there are 3 cats)

We 100% would recommend a visit and work exchange at the project! It's hard to convey how beautiful the land is, how kind & generous Sophie and Sally are (as well as their other family members who pop by regularly), how delicious the meals they cook are, and how much awesome potential there is on the land. We actually changed our travel plans around so that we can come back here for one more week, as we had such a good time and connected with the family so much! We hope to keep in touch with them all as wonderful members of our international family. So much love & gratitude.

I've had a wonderful time volunteering at the project! Sophie and the family are the kindest souls who are so caring and loving. I felt really looked after and everything that we needed, like food and facilities were just always really well taken care of and available to us. I've learned a lot by doing the work on the land and in the garden, it's a great practical learning experience and a really lovely place to be working. From the very first moment that I arrived I felt welcomed and at home. I couldn't have wished for a warmer and lovelier host. Thank you Sophie!

The experience was incredible. I recommend volunteering here. The host, Sophie, makes you feel at ease exploring the garden and looking after it, as well as being extremely loving and caring towards us. I would recommend it and would return if I had the opportunity to go back to Glatonbury.

I spent 3 WONDERFUL weeks with Sophie, her family and most of all, the 4 others volunteers ! I learnt a lot about gardening, sustainability. Glastonbury culture and beliefs are very différents and it open minds too Sophie is the most kindest person I have ever met, she is a host, but she is also a mother, hard worker, always here for us and her family members, and a beautiful woman🪷 I enjoyed spending time talking with her and im thankful about this memories About the project, you will discover a lot, be curious !

I enjoyed my first experience at the project so much that I came back to stay longer. It was a great decision. I had time to learn a lot more things, especially about gardening. Sophie is very attentive and is always concerned about the well-being of all of us! I was also lucky enough to make great friends with the other volunteers. This place just keeps getting better! I intend to come back again!

It was a wonderful experience. Sophie is a really kind and lovely person. Always taking care of the volunteers and providing everything that we need to have a great experience. Her family is lovely as well. Working in the garden is easy and fun, there is always something to learn. Time to work is flexible and you can choose what is better for you. In general, it's a really good experience to enjoy and learn soo much.

This volunteer was amazing, the host, the family, the place, everything. Sophie makes us fell like we are part of her family and teach us a lot about gardening and taking care of a land to grew vegetables. Always she was worried about us, if we where confortable, that we experience the great things of Glastonbury and other places. She was amazing with us, we spend Christmas with her family and included us very warmly and in every celebration that they made.

From the start Sophie and her family were the most lovely, caring and funny people that we found during our stay on England and even Europe, gardening with them was so enrichment for our future projects so we will always remember what she teach us, but for far been part of her family was the best experience that we will ever guard in our hearts and hope we cross our paths again, Olso the location of the house for us was amazing, near the town but you can olso see amazing landscapes from the windows
