The Experience

We live in Glastonbury in a large house with 2/3 acre. Definitely a fun place to visit! We need practical help! People with DIY and building know-how. Upcoming activities include erecting a garden shed, establishing a chicken enclosure, building compost loos and shower block, cutting firewood, weeding and other essential tasks in our lovely garden. You may be in a room in the house or in a bell tent on the land overlooking Paradise Valley!

It was a wonderful experience. Sophie is a really kind and lovely person. Always taking care of the volunteers and providing everything that we need to have a great experience. Her family is lovely as well. Working in the garden is easy and fun, there is always something to learn. Time to work is flexible and you can choose what is better for you. In general, it's a really good experience to enjoy and learn soo much.

This volunteer was amazing, the host, the family, the place, everything. Sophie makes us fell like we are part of her family and teach us a lot about gardening and taking care of a land to grew vegetables. Always she was worried about us, if we where confortable, that we experience the great things of Glastonbury and other places. She was amazing with us, we spend Christmas with her family and included us very warmly and in every celebration that they made.

From the start Sophie and her family were the most lovely, caring and funny people that we found during our stay on England and even Europe, gardening with them was so enrichment for our future projects so we will always remember what she teach us, but for far been part of her family was the best experience that we will ever guard in our hearts and hope we cross our paths again, Olso the location of the house for us was amazing, near the town but you can olso see amazing landscapes from the windows

Sophie was incredibly welcoming, provided me with a safe place to sleep, delicious food, and warm showers. Upon my arrival, Sophie kindly arranged for my pickup (one night I got lost in the dark, she went out of her way to find me and bring me back to her place). Her hospitality truly impressed me. Delicious Vegetarian Meals, Beautiful Farm, a picturesque haven with lush green landscapes and a vegetable greenhouse. Sophie's place is conveniently situated within walking distance of fascinating local attractions. I can't thank enough for the wonderful experience. I'll definitely come back!

Staying with Sophie, Sally and all of their family was such a beautiful experience, I felt like home, everything was great I don't have anything bad to say about it, I really felt pure love at the project. Glastonbury is also a very special place you can feel magic there. I would recommend this experience to all people who likes tranquility an be in touch with nature.
