An advice: go for it! Rob and Rebe are lovely people who I'll never forget, they treat you like family and you really feel at home. I'm more than delighted and grateful for this 2nd volunteering experience. We arrived at the end of the turtle season, so we've been working on the farm to ensure it develops properly. If you go you'll see the lovely wall we painted behind the laundry. Rebe's food omg! Delicious! And we learned a lot about birds thanks to Rob, "you suck my balls" :D Thanks again, I'll be back <3

My experience with the eco village was incredibly valuable and rewarding. Rob and Rebe were professional, engaging & consistent hosts. There was a ton of variety & balance throughout our tasks & everything was extremely organized. The location was breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of monkeys & greetings by colorful macaws made each day made each day feel like a dream. Rebe prepared each farm to table meal with her soul. Her yoga classes truly resonated with me as well. Rob is kind & genuinely cares about his work. His Spanish classes were also super fun and helpful. I would 100% return.

My time at the eco village was great! Rob and Rebe are both very welcoming hosts and I felt at home during the 10 days I was there. The accommodation is amazing, surrounded by so much nature, and Rebe's cooking was extremely delicious. I learned a lot about turtle conservation and eco farming, and really enjoyed Rob's Spanish lessons and Rebe's yoga classes. I also loved spending time with their 3 wonderful dogs. The work was usually pretty easy and well structured, we also got to make soap which was fun. I felt very at peace during my time there and I am grateful for this experience.

I felt at home at the eco village within a week. The hosts, Rob and Rebe cultivate a welcoming, family-like environment. We actually worked less hours than 5 per day, and the tasks were different every day so had ample free time to go to the beach, read, do yoga, etc! It often didn't feel like actual work because we got to learn so much about plants and animals! The living space is also super clean (and they're proud of it) which you might not think but makes a huge difference in comfort in the jungle. I loved learning new vegetarian recipes with Rebe and always felt full from the food!

I spent 4 weeks at the eco village and every day was truly amazing. Rob & Rebe created a home very far away from home, treating all us volunteers as their family. Rob knows so much about turtle conservation and sustainability, it was amazing to learn from him. Rebe is the most amazing chef with the best energy to be around. The location is a definetly remote, but it was the perfect place to connect with nature and do meaningful work for the earth. Been gone only 2 days and already missing it!

My time at the eco village was beyond anything I could have hoped for. Each day was a new experience that brought it's own challenges & adventures. Being in the jungle surrounded by so many different animals, plants, natural landscapes & locals created the safest environment to learn, relax & truly feel at home. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed not only by Rob and Rebe but also by all the volunteers there. You'll learn about sustainable living & regenerative farming, get hands on experience with the sea turtle conservation project & if you can, take Rob's Spanish class & Rebe's yoga!

Volunteering at the eco village was a really enrichible and beautiful opportunity to learn about permaculture, sustainability and to contribute in the sea turtle conservation. The farm is in the rainforest next to the beach, it's just paradise! I truly recommend going to the beach (5min walk) to see the sunset everyday!! Oh and you'll love food in here, it is delicious! Overall, this is a volunteering focused on taking care of our planet, and I think that everybody should be more aware about this matter.

Rebe and Rob are amazing people, passionate about what they do and ready to share all their knowledge and love to the world. For me working at the kitchen With Rebe was AMAZING, I had a lot of fun, learned a lot about vegan kitchen and got to eat delicious food. I would say that if you have the opportunity to be at the eco village, do not miss it. You will have a new beautiful family, walk cute dogs to the beach, learn lots, and all of these surrounded by a paradise . Thank you both so much for making me feel like home and being as awesome as you are. You'll always have a place in my 🩷

It was my first time volunteering and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Rob and Rebe are so sweet, they really take care of you and try to find the perfect tasks for you to help. Rebe is an amazing cook and she always had really yummy glutenfree options for me as well. I learned so much about nature, animals, sustainable living, eco farming and also about myself. You are in the middle of the nature and I loved it. I am forever grateful for the time I had there and I already miss it so much. Gracias! :)

I had an amazing time at the eco village!! The food was amazing, Rob and Rebe were welcoming, and the work was fun and rewarding. We worked on the greenhouse and the turtle conservatory, and learned so much about sea turtles and sustainability. The property is amazing - the primary rainforest in your backyard and the beach is 10 min away. I really did find a home away from home, and was able to meet amazing people and make close friends. It is pretty remote, so don't get scared on your initial drive there- it's worth it. I already miss my time there and I can't recommend it enough! Pura vida :)
