My experience in Sisaket was truly unforgettable. The host Pnom made me feel immediately at home and very comfortable. He welcomed me in to his culture and home as if I was his own. I made unforgettable memories and I was truly immersed into the Thai culture. This would be an amazing program for a beginner traveler as he is constantly available to help answer any questions. Overall my stay was absolutely magical and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point. The children and faculty at the school were amazing as well and eased you into teaching smoothly. I will definitely be back.

My time in Sisaket has been such an unforgettable experience. PNom, his family and local people made me feel so welcomed. PNom is an amazing host, he has so much knowledge and is more than happy to share with volunteers. Teaching is a beautiful experience, teaching a range of year groups, all the children were so eager to learn. I was given so many wonderful opportunities to immerse myself in local culture (eating food, visiting temples, spending a day in Kui village). I have made special memories for life and recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you so much to Sisaket!

EEC Sisaket was an amazing volunteering experience. It is exactly as promoted in the rural region in the northeast close to Cambodia and Laos. This project equips you with basic teaching experience aimed at young children from ages 6 - 14 and was personally very helpful. I'd definitely come back to visit again!

Fayz kam eine Woche lang, um uns zu helfen. Er arbeitet hart daran, eine neue Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Englisch für Kinder in einer öffentlichen Schule zu sammeln. Er kann das tun! Perfekt! Ich kann dich nicht in kurzer Zeit dazu bringen, unsere Kultur kennenzulernen. Hoffentlich kommst du wieder.

My time in Si sa provided memories that will last a lifetime. The program is a special- the kids and teachers at the school are one of a kind. Even though I've only been gone a few days, I miss them all so much. Pnohm and his family are incredible. They work hard to make sure you have everything you need and go out of their way to help introduce you to Thai culture/explore Si sa ket. I highly reccomend this program to anyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of these amazing children. You'll never go hungry and if you put in the effort, you'll make genuine friendships. Mic ist eine wunderbare Person, die uns in Sisaket hilft. Sie ist eine starke Frau und bittet um mehr Aktivitäten, um den Schülern etwas beizubringen und mit ihnen zu spielen. Sie möchte ihre Freizeit nicht ohne Schüler verschwenden. Sie freut sich darauf, mehr über die thailändische Kultur zu lernen, und nimmt sich Zeit, damit ich ihr einige schwierige Dinge auf Englisch erklären kann. Sie ist eine gute Freiwillige und eine gute Reisende.

Even though I only stayed for a week this was one of the best experiences in my life! Especially P'Nohm and teacher Tukta went above and beyond to teach me about Thai culture, show me around Sisaket and feel welcomed! The students are absolutely adorable and eager to participate in class. I would definitely suggest staying at least a month because I regret leaving so soon already. Thank you guys for these unforgettable memories!!

In der sehr kurzen Zeit, in der Annina hier bleibt, lernst du sehr schnell mit den Studenten und der thailändischen Kultur. Und herzlich willkommen, wieder nach Sisaket zu kommen.

I stayed here for 3 weeks In Si sa ket teaching and the children where all so welcoming and sweet! The hosts are amazing and really went out of there way to plan fun adventures with you and make sure your doing well:)

Lihnea hat ein hohes Selbstwertgefühl. Sie mag Kunst, Zeichnen und Malen. Sie genießt es zu wandern und Orte in der Natur zu betrachten. Die Kinder lieben sie; sie ist eine schöne Lehrerin. Sie hat die Fähigkeit, sehr junge Schülerinnen und Schüler zu betreuen (P1-2). Ich hoffe, Sie genießen die nächste Reise.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two months with ECC Thailand! The rooms and facilities we stayed in were good and clean. We worked closely with the local school system to create English speaking classes that helped the children meet their requirements for graduating to the next grade. We worked with ages 6-14 between 9 different classes. The children are just amazing and so eager to learn, they just need more volunteers to keep a consistent run on classes. I needed my visa extended and P'Nohm was able to help me with that since there's a Visa consulate in town.

Tyler kommt, um uns zu helfen und die Schule beim Aufbau eines Englischkurses zu unterstützen. Er ist ein liebenswürdiger Mann und zu allen Menschen freundlich. Kinder lieben es, von ihm zu lernen und mit ihm zu sprechen. Er liebt es, die thailändische Kultur kennenzulernen. Wenn wir irgendwo hingehen, nimmt er sich Zeit und stellt mir viele Fragen zur thailändischen Kultur. Ich liebe es, dass er an meiner Kultur interessiert ist, und ich liebe es, ihm zu antworten. Er hat Führungsqualitäten im Unterrichten und in anderen Bereichen.

Hi! my experience here was far from what i expected. i came in with the expectation of doing photo/video work and was told that i would be teaching English. when i first arrived i was a bit shocked at the facilities. in my honest opinion, i feel as though the living space was unhygienic. we found a bag of rice that had bugs in it, there was no hot water and we were not given bottled water. only after we left did the host tell us the tap water was filtered. even then i'm still not sure i would trust it. the town is very rural and finding food other than snacks at 7/11 is difficult.

Es tut mir leid wegen deiner schlechten Erfahrung. Vielleicht entspricht alles nicht deinen Erwartungen. Vielleicht schenkt dir das nichts Vertrauen. Ich akzeptiere deine Sicht auf mich vollständig. Wir sind nicht nah daran zu reden und unsere Ansichten auszutauschen.
Ich habe mich entschuldigt, um deine Stimmung schlechter zu machen. Hauptsächlich konzentriert sich unser Projekt darauf, Kindern zu helfen, Englisch mit Muttersprachlern zu lernen. Danach haben wir erweitert, um unser Projekt zu fördern (deine Position).
Das Projekt ist nicht mein Geschäft; ich hoffe vollständig und aufrichtig, Kindern zu helfen. Vielleicht ist nicht alles perfekt. Es tut mir leid für dich. Ich werde alles tun für die Freiwilligen, die Kindern wie uns helfen wollen.
