J'ai globalement vécu une expérience de bénévolat vraiment géniale ici. Ana a été incroyablement sympathique, accueillante et serviable tout au long de mon séjour. Jonathan n'était pas aussi accueillant, et j'ai rencontré quelques soucis avec lui, mais Ana a toujours été rapide à intervenir et à tout résoudre. Enseigner le yoga a été sans doute l'une des meilleures parties, et j'ai adoré avoir la liberté de choisir ce que je voulais enseigner. La Fortuna est très praticable à pied, et les réductions sur les tours étaient incroyables. Mon seul inconvénient était que la chambre des bénévoles n'avait pas de climatisation. Il fait extrêmement chaud, surtout la nuit, et je ne peux pas imaginer que les quatre lits soient tous occupés.

Je suis resté à l'auberge pendant deux semaines et je l'ai adorée. La Fortuna est magnifique, et l'auberge a une ambiance très agréable. Analia est une personne super sympathique et cool. L'auberge est très confortable et vraiment propre. Il y a beaucoup de toilettes et de douches, et une grande cuisine où j'ai cuisiné beaucoup de mes repas. J'ai partagé une chambre avec un autre volontaire ; nous sommes devenus amis et avons passé beaucoup de temps ensemble. Mon emploi du temps était parfait. J'ai donné un cours de yoga le matin et un le soir, avec un jour de congé par semaine. J'avais beaucoup de temps libre pendant la journée.

My time at the hostel was amazing. Ana was a perfect host! The reception work was explained very clearly, and if I had some questions, she always responded quickly. I got a schedule before each week, so I could plan beforehand. The hostel is also a really beautiful place. Very nice, clean, and well-organized. I appreciated that we had a small room for volunteers only. Overall, I truly felt like at home there and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to spend time in a beautiful friendly environment in an amazing place surrounded by nature. Thank you! ❤️

J'ai absolument adoré mon temps à l'auberge ! Ana est absolument merveilleuse, et tout était exactement comme je l'attendais. En tant que professeur de yoga, j'ai enseigné pendant deux heures par jour, 6 jours par semaine, et j'ai trouvé que c'était une grande work exchange. L'auberge est propre, dans un excellent emplacement près du centre de La Fortuna, et se sent en sécurité. La plupart des clients ne restent que quelques jours, car presque tout ce qu'il y a à faire coûte de l'argent, mais je pense vraiment que la ville vaut le détour. Merci beaucoup à Ana pour une excellente expérience ! :)

J'ai vraiment apprécié le temps que j'ai passé à faire du bénévolat dans cette auberge de jeunesse! Ana a été une hôte incroyable, super sympathique et je me suis senti(e) bien accueilli(e) dès le début 🫶🏼 Le travail était très facile et j'avais encore beaucoup de temps libre. L'auberge est bien située, la plupart des choses se font à pied et il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire. La Fortuna est un endroit agréable où séjourner et cela m'a paru très sûr. C'était une excellente première expérience de bénévolat pour moi et je le recommanderais vivement!

J'ai passé un très bon moment à faire du bénévolat dans l'auberge. L'auberge a une ambiance détendue et conviviale et le travail est super facile, environ cinq heures par jour avec beaucoup de temps libre pour explorer. Ana est incroyable, toujours aimable et prête à aider pour tout ce dont on a besoin. La ville paraît très sûre, tout est proche et il y a quelques activités gratuites à faire autour, mais si vous prévoyez de rester plus longtemps, vous devez savoir qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup d'activités à faire sans payer beaucoup d'argent. Connaître un peu d'espagnol facilite certainement la connexion avec les habitants. Je recommande totalement l'expérience !

I had a wonderful time here! Ana was incredibly helpful in suggesting local activities and always responded quickly to any questions I had. The reception tasks were straightforward and clearly explained. Volunteers get great discounts on many local tours, which was a huge plus. The hostel itself was peaceful, with a lovely outdoor area and comfortable common spaces. The town felt very safe, and everything from cafes and restaurants to grocery stores is within walking distance. I felt at home right away. Overall, I highly recommend this volunteer experience to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! It's a quiet, calm oasis. Ana is an excellent host, responsive and flexible. She gave me a full schedule for the month upfront, but was always open to adjusting when needed. The hostel is in a great, central location. The town feels safe, and everything I needed was walking distance, including groceries, gym, tour companies, etc. That said, the tour discounts for volunteers were by far the best in terms of cost and value! And as a newer yoga teacher, I really valued the small class sizes (1-4). I also had plenty of time to remote work.

My time at Pure Vitra Hostel was super chill! Analia is a very sweet and funny person and I'm glad we met. I appreciated her openness to my ideas and her flexibility overall. The hostel is very clean and well taken care of and I felt super comfortable there. My work consisted of max. 2 hours of yoga classes per day, sometimes only one hour and assisting some activities like setting up the space for a movie night, so I had lot's of time to explore the area. Overall I'm very grateful for the exchange we had and look forward to seeing her again! Mucho amor, gracias por todo! <3

I had a great experience at the hostel! The tasks were clear, and easy to do : check in of the guests, payements, laundry for the guests...ect. If you have doubt, Ana always answers quickly and is willing to help. Apart from the job, I had a lot of free time to do activities - especially with the discounts the volunteers have during their stay - and there is a lot do around La Fortuna (hiking around the volcano Arenal, waterfall, river, Rio celeste...etc)! I reccomend for travellers who want to have free accomodation, discounts on tours, and are able to work 5h/5 days a week! :)
