I recommend the hostel for many reasons! Friendly welcoming staff, a nice place to stay, and 10 minutes from the beach. I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world on shift and then running down to the ocean to surf with free great equipment and lessons. The work was easy, well explained and I always felt comfortable asking questions. Awesome experience!!

Beautiful hostel, beautiful place and beautiful people, it was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel and I couldn't ask for anything better. They always made me feel welcome; I will most likely return. I recommend it to all travellers☀️

Le séjour de Chiara a été incroyable ; elle a finalement prolongé son séjour d'un mois de plus.
Elle est vraiment sociable, responsable et proactive; elle a tout appris très rapidement et a bien réussi.
Elle s'est fait des amis avec tous ceux qui sont passés par l'auberge.
Dans l'ensemble, elle a été un excellent ajout à l'équipe et nous la recommandons sans hésiter pour toute expérience de world packer.

I had an amazing experience at the surf hostel and would highly recommend to any travellers, the atmosphere is magical and the location is perfect. The team are super supportive and welcoming I had an incredible time:)

Greta est une fille vraiment amusante, elle a très bien travaillé et s'est fait des amis avec tout le monde.
Son séjour a été vraiment bon, la seule chose que je peux dire est que les ordinateurs sont son pire ennemi XD, mais elle a quand même bien appris ce qu'elle avait à faire et cela n'a posé aucun problème.
Nous la recommandons définitivement pour plus d'expériences worldpackers !

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly, filled with the loveliest and most kind-hearted people. The work is relaxed, with working hours and day-off requests always respected, giving you plenty of free time to explore Portugal, learn to surf, and have fun! The managers, Bia, Nuno, and Rodrigo, are incredibly supportive and always there when you need them, making sure you're comfortable throughout your stay!🌼💖 I'm truly grateful for the wonderful people I've met and the overall experience, and I can't wait to be back one day.

Nora est incroyable, très gentille avec les autres, tout simplement une excellente personne.
Son séjour a été incroyable, elle a prolongé son séjour de près de deux mois supplémentaires et n'a jamais causé le moindre problème, elle travaille très bien, très proactive, rapide et responsable.
Nous avons juste souhaité qu'elle reste plus longtemps.
Elle sera un excellent ajout n'importe où.

Alex est un mec génial, super intelligent, a tout appris très rapidement et bien.
Très sociable, il s'est entendu avec tout le monde; son séjour chez nous a été excellent et nous le recommandons vivement pour d'autres expériences de bénévolat sur Worldpackers.

I had a great time at the hostel! The managers are super friendly, there is a great vibe within the team and the work and hours are fair. You have enough free time to explore the surroundings and travel within Portugal, and you can indicate your preferred shifts and days off. Even when my travel plans changed the management was super friendly and understanding. Even tho I wasn't here for a long time, I enjoyed it a lot!

Manon n'est pas restée longtemps avec nous; Manon avait déjà séjourné dans une autre auberge auparavant et l'expérience était si bonne qu'elle l'a beaucoup regrettée.
Elle s'est approchée de nous et a parlé de ce qu'elle ressentait et, bien sûr, nous avons soutenu sa décision de revenir.
Pendant le temps qu'elle est restée, l'expérience s'est très bien passée et, espérons-le, nous nous reverrons à l'avenir.

The most amazing place in the world, on day 1 already feels like home. Rodrigo, Nuno and everyone working in the hostel is super understanding and respectful, give you enough time to rest and have fun. This place is magnet for great people - volunteers and guests, everyone is welcoming and full of love. Its a great place for first time volunteering, so don't doubt- go ahead, you won't regret it. Can't wait to be back one day. Its really home away from home.

Natalia est vraiment drôle et une excellente personne, elle était très proactive et a tout appris très rapidement.
Elle s'est bien entendue avec tout le monde et a même prolongé son séjour.
Globalement, l'expérience a été très bonne et elle sera un excellent atout pour n'importe quelle équipe.
