The Experience

May-September we have our peak season, with wildlife guests 6 days a week. We would like a couple or 2 close friends to join us. One person for kitchen (making breakfast and welcome sandwiches) plus cleaning the guest area. Its 2 hours work some days, its 4 hours another day. And one person for feeding the wildlife at the hides and clean the hides. Its around 3-4 hours work per day.

There is no way to describe the experience of this volunteering! Starting with Sara, who was a special host and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. She was always very good-humored and explained everything in a light-hearted way, and that makes all the difference to volunteers! The work itself is not difficult and gives us the opportunity to experience completely new things! We took beautiful photos and learned a lot about Sweden's the lodge animals. We would certainly return in another season for an even more complete experience 🧡

What a fantastic experience, it couldn't have been better. Sara is a fantastic host who cares about the smallest details and helps with everything we needed and more. The work is not hard at all, we spend the weeks painting windows and helping the business when it was necessary. We had a lot of free time to connect with nature, spends nights at the hides (we saw a bear 😍🐻), explore the area and interact with locals and their culture. This experience was incredible and I definitely recommend it.

Sara is a great person that really cares about your well-being, she became a good friend! we had our own house (a cabin close to the lodge) plus food and supplies, in exchange we helped with some painting and the hides/guests job when needed if you're looking to be in contact with nature, in a remote location, that's the place we learn about sustainability, were able to sit in the hides 4 times, seeing a bear, foxes, etc connected a lot with the locals, there's always something going on huge thanks to Sara, also Christine and Oskar created some lifelong memories, it was amazing!!

The entire experience was absolutely fantastic! the lodge is truly an outstanding place. Sara, the incredible host, provided a transparent and accurate overview of the work expectations, that was not too much, and surprisingly fun! Snow cleaning was a workout, but hey, good for the bod, ahaha – loved it. The accommodations were exceptional—a spacious apartment exclusively for my use, and Sara provided food for me to cook. I had the pleasure of meeting extraordinary people whose impact I intend to carry forward in my life. I hope that I can come back another time! I recommend the experience!

After experiencing the lodge you can never see other Worldpackers experiences the same. 65 sqm apartment just for you (or for a couple or pair). 3* hotel facilities (at least). Leisure activities depending on season can include (cross country skiing, skating, mountain biking, trekking, downhill skiing). The work depends on the season but definitely you won't work extra hours. Actually, working less hours is highly likely. Advice: be yourself when submitting your intro video or when sending a motivational video about this experience. It's not easy to be selected so prepare diligently Cheers

Thank you Eduard for all your work, for the outdoor activity days we had together and for being fine with shoveling so much snow! :-) Take care!
