My stay at the hostel was nothing less than perfect and I will forever be grateful to have had the chance to become a part of the LSH family 🩷🫶 The staff and volunteers are friendly and welcoming and will take you in with open arms. The work is well structured, easily manageable and in case of doubts the staff is always available to answer questions and offer guidence. This volunteer experience will give you all of the best! Friendships, community, surf and lifelong memories🩷🌊🏄 This hostel is truly what you can call a home away frome home🫶 I can not reccomend LSH highly enough!🩷

Where should I begin, my volunteering experience at the hostel was absolutely amazing! The team of volunteers and staff made me feel at home from day one and I always felt supported and safe. The tasks were easy to understand and I always had someone by my side if I needed help. The hostel's location was perfect, just minutes from the fabulous beach and surf school. I'm incredibly grateful for all the memories I've made here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new adventure. This place will always hold a special spot in my heart❤️

Der Aufenthalt von Clara bei uns war wirklich gut. Sie kam in einer geschäftigen Zeit zu uns, aber sie hat alles wirklich gut bewältigt. Sie hat alles schnell gelernt und hatte keine Probleme, alle erforderlichen Aufgaben zu erledigen.
Sie kam mit allen gut zurecht, sowohl dem Personal als auch den Gästen.
Ich empfehle Clara für jede Worldpackers-Erfahrung.

The hostel was an amazing hostel to volunteer at. Their motto, "Home away from home" really describes the vibe of the hostel. I am truly grateful for all the people I met, for the welcoming atmosphere at the hostel, and overall for the month I got to live the LSH lifestyle. I would 100% come back to this volunteer opportunity and would without hesitation recommend it to everybody who is looking for a great volunteer experience:)

Pias Aufenthalt bei uns war wirklich gut; sie kam in eine geschäftige Phase an, aber sie hat alles wirklich gut gemeistert. Sie hat alles schnell gelernt und hatte keine Schwierigkeiten, eine der erforderlichen Aufgaben zu erledigen. Sie würde ihre Schicht wirklich gut alleine bewältigen können und ist eine wirklich harte Arbeiterin.
Sie kam mit allen gut aus, sowohl mit dem Personal als auch mit den Gästen; sie ist eine wirklich freundliche Seele.

This volunteering was amazingly perfect! i loved every part of it. the girls that i got to live and work with, are now my sisters and the people at the hostel is the kindest and most welcoming ever. all the task are well explained and it's super easy to get them done, you don't need a previous experience. the hostel has a perfect location and you are able to meet lots of people since there are lots of groups from all over the world coming to stay there. super grateful for this opportunity, wouldn't change anything of it🩷

I truly loved my time at the the hostel, everything from the staff to the other volunteers to carcavelos is almost tailor made to guarantee that no matter who you are you will have an amazing time. The work is very clearly laid out but even on days where there is a lot to do I never worked alone and there was always support and appreciation for the work the volunteers did. This place allowed me to learn new things and meet the loveliest people and I highly recommend it to anyone considering applying !

The experience at the hostel was absolutely fantastic, I couldn't be more satisfied and happy. In no time, I felt at home, immersed in a truly welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. This was primarily thanks to every member of the staff—I found everyone to be kind and always available, welcoming me in the best possible way. The tasks required of volunteers are simple and well-explained, the working hours are well-balanced, and there is always someone ready to help with any doubts! Moreover, the place is wonderful, just five minutes from the ocean! I highly recommend it whitout hesitation!

Volunteering at LSH felt like a month-long dream. I'm truly grateful for the time shared with my fellow volunteers, who grew closer with each passing day, and the managers (Bia, Rodrigo, and Nuno), who made this experience so special. The balance between work and free time was the best I've had yet, giving us plenty of time to surf, hike, and explore the hostel. I can't wait to return to LSH and see everyone who made it so memorable! 🫶

As soon as I arrived to LSH I felt so comfortable, it was actually crazy, everything was so nice, I felt I was living the time of my life, just working, surfing, and meeting new people. The managers Nuno and Rodrigo are the chillest and coolest guys ever, they set the bar way too high for my upcomings bosses. Everyone clicked with each other, it really felt like a family between the volunteers, Bia being the mom of all of us, making sure we were doing good and doing our job, but also being there as a really good friend, Im going to miss her a lot. Can't wait to go back!

Surfing was super accessible. Great breakfast, great management, great hostel. Fun place to hang out at, very easy to get into the hostel as the hostel is just down the road from the train station. Just a quick walk from the beach, this place is awesome!

Viele Worldpackers haben sich kürzlich auf diese Stelle beworben. Der Host wird wahrscheinlich nicht auf alle Bewerbungen antworten können, daher empfehlen wir dir, dich auch bei anderen Hosts in unserer Gemeinschaft zu bewerben und nicht nur bei diesem :)
