The experience was exactly what I expected work wise : I had full liberty of what I could provide and we set a 2 months program for the social medias, which is nice ! We discovered the vegan lifestyle and are still applying it to this day, Dazn was really welcoming (and understanding 😉), I would recommend if you want to disconnect, meet new people and learn new things !

My experience at the hostelwas positive. I took care of the kitchen and meals for volunteers and guests, I had fun and nothing is missing in the kitchen. Cats and dogs are lovely, there are many animals and birds around, that you can observe. I spent my time in good company, playing cards with the guys, and enjoying the river nearby. Had a great experience at thethethethe hostel: the place is truly beautiful and completely immersed in nature, where you can see stunning birds, monkeys, and insects, and there's a lovely river where you can swim. Daan was a great host: I worked side by side with him the whole time, and he taught me many woodworking skills along the way. He's also a very interesting person, and in our free time, we chatted about the environment, science, and current events, watched soccer games together, and played cards.

Loved this experience so much ! Daan, Jair and Rita were all amazing as were the other volunteers. Work was fair and enjoyable with afternoons and weekends off to explore, place was super impressive all hand built andthe hostel friendly, food was delicious, overall great time and great host :) bring bug spray

Very goodthethe hostel ! Daan is a great host and is building an incredible place. The work as community manager was cool, I had a lot of freedom and as long as the work was done, I didnt had strict schedule. A lot of mosquitoes so be aware but there are nets on beds.

The time at hostelwas magical. Being so immersed in the beautiful nature surrounded by like-minded and kind people. I was there over the holiday period when the pace was a little slower, but we completed many kitchen upgrades and learned a lot about eating as zero waste as possible with the local plants.
