The experience at Gokul Farm was our first volunteer and we highly recommend it. The place is very beautiful and easily accessible from London via train. We got to know a little about Hare Krishna philosophy and culture, we tried different food (Indian), in some places there were fruits and breads available for the volunteers, and the hosts were always questioning whether we are ok and whether we liked the meal. In the farm work we did several things such as harvesting spinach, weeding the beans, gardening and others tasks. Thank you Ramai for this experience. We definitely recommend.

For a person like me... it is a culture shock, the treatment of people, the food, the customs. It was my first volunteering and I loved it, I even wanted to stay longer. I enjoyed the tasks assigned to me, work time is respected and the food is delicious, although it was difficult at first because it is spicy but then I got used to it. This experience was incredible, always we felt in home, surrounded by beautiful people all the time. The work is really easy activities, every time in contact with the nature, normally is 6 hours per day, and sometimes is under de sun so I recommend having a cap or something to cover you. KC and Ramai are wonderful people, always willing to listen and support any need. The farm is far from the town but has a bus station 15 minutes away. We surely would love to come back whatever we can. Thanks to KC and Ramai for this beautiful stay ❤️

This was my first volunteer experience and I was surprised at how wonderful everything was. I was welcomed lovingly and made beautiful memories that will forever be cherished. The culture immersion was amazing and the food was great. I definitely recommend experiencing this volunteer opportunity!

This is the best experience you ever gonna find in London, KC and Ramai make you feel like home and help you with anything you need. I highly recommend this place, besides the food is delicious you can eat as much as you'd like and you'll be in touch with nature and animals. It's a pretty chill vibe and the work is easy. One of the most amazing experiences I had ! The place is amazing, the food is great (Spice, but still great), the volunteers are always amazing and the team made us feel conformable. The work is not hard, and you'll feel always connected with nature. About the temple, it's not so close to the place we live in, but with time, you'll be used to walk there to some meals and enjoy nice times there with people from community and the other volunteers. Ramai and KC are always worried about our safety, and always made us feel included and comfortable. Amazing managers. For sure, I recommend

Rama is an excellent person, he always helps and is attentive to anything. The farm is a good place to be, you are connected with incredible people and you know the Indu culture, there are very good aspects that you take away from this volunteering. But there are also aspects that need to be improved, such as the work order, and it seems to me that the next volunteers will have a new kitchen and recreation room. But overall it is a good experience that you should try.
