My volunteering experience at the temple was very positive. The environment is welcoming, well-organized, and the people are extremely kind and helpful. I learned a lot and felt well received throughout my stay. One challenge was that my sciatic nerve became inflamed due to tasks that required working in a crouched position, which concerned me because I previously had L4-L5 spinal surgery. I also found the bathrooms quite far away, especially at night. Despite these difficulties, I consider the temple an excellent place with a wonderful community and a truly enriching experience.

This was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have made a better choice! I am very grateful to Ramai and KC for their kindness and support throughout my stay. From day one, I felt truly welcome and could always count on them whenever I needed anything. Besides the work on the farm, I learned more about Hare Krishna, took part in special activities, and had memorable experiences, such as milking a cow and wearing a sari during the Hare Krishna festival in London. I also met incredible people and made friendships that made everything even more special. Thank you for everything!

It was a very interesting experience, although I didn't stay very long, I really enjoyed it. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and I felt very comfortable from the start. The food might be a little different for those who aren't used to it. The tasks are generally easy and well explained, but sometimes can be hard because it's a farm, so be aware that you'll be in the countryside, wear light clothing, and don't forget sunscreen or a hat. It's a calm, beautiful environment surrounded by nature.

The experience was amazing! I fully immersed myself in Indian culture, their people, and their festivals. I met incredible people and learned so much. The place is peaceful, comfortable, and close to London and transport. Everyone was kind and helpful.
