Meine Erfahrung als Volunteer hier war insgesamt gut. Ich habe viele interessante Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern kennengelernt, und das Hostel selbst ist schön und im Allgemeinen sauber. Ich bin dankbar für die Momente und Freundschaften, die ich hier geschlossen habe.
Gleichzeitig denke ich, dass es noch einige Dinge gibt, die verbessert werden könnten. Manchmal wirkte die Atmosphäre etwas angespannt, und es gab Situationen, die besser hätten gehandhabt werden können. Trotzdem schätze ich die Erfahrung, weil sie mir viel beigebracht hat und mir sowohl gute Erinnerungen als auch Lektionen gegeben hat.

Ich habe hier eine großartige Erfahrung als Freiwillige gemacht! Ich habe tatsächlich die meiste Zeit im anderen Hostel von Claas verbracht, weil Villa renoviert wurde, aber es war trotzdem eine Freude, beizutragen. Claas ist eine sehr freundliche, aufgeschlossene Person, die eine respektvolle und einladende Atmosphäre schafft, in der sich jeder wohlfühlt. Er hat zwei Hostels in der Stadt, beide mit einer großartigen Atmosphäre. Die Aufgaben sind einfach und die Schichten sind wirklich entspannt, sodass man viel Freizeit hat, die Stadt zu genießen. Alle waren freundlich und kooperativ, was die ganze Erfahrung noch besser gemacht hat.

Claas ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der dir die Teilnahme an Entscheidungen zu deinen Aufgaben ermöglicht, die nie kompliziert waren und nicht mehr Stunden in Anspruch nahmen als vorher vereinbart. Er ist offen und flexibel. Ich habe in beiden Hostels in der Stadt gewohnt, und beide Standorte sind ziemlich gut. Wenn du Zeit in der Stadt verbringen möchtest, empfehle ich wirklich, im Hostel zu arbeiten.

My experience at this hostel was absolutely amazing are host class was so welcoming easy to talk to and had such a fun and outgoing personality. Some of my fondest memories are class making the most delicious food and BBQ I have ever had such an amazing cook. Another amazing perk was that class would often buy lots of food so we could make breakfast lunches and dinner so if we didn't want to go out and spend money of food we had that option. All in all I had such an amazing first time working at a hostel class was so friendly easy to talk with and i will always have lasting memories.

This is a great exchange for independent people who take initiative and enjoy a chill vibe. It's not a party hostel, but we had fun rooftop nights with music, drinks, and cards. Class is supportive and always happy to help. I really appreciated how inclusivity (LGBTQ+ friendly, anti-racist) is clearly central to the space. The work is easy, with 2–3 days off weekly. Rooftop BBQs were unreal. I stayed during peak heat, which was hard, but it made me value cold showers, fans, and water. Highly recommend for anyone looking to meet great people, grow personally, and enjoy meaningful travel.

This was my first volunteer experience and it turned out to be really good and enriching. The tasks are simple — cleaning, reception shifts, and interacting with guests — and the rotating schedule gives you plenty of time to explore the hostel. The hostel is about a 20-minute walk from the city center and has a peaceful vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers or enjoying quiet time. The managers — Melisa, Joaquín, and Claas — are super friendly, open, and flexible. I felt welcome from day one. Thank you so much for the experience ☺️

My experience at the hostel was amazing. From the very first moment, you feel welcomed, as Class greets you kindly and explains your tasks in a natural way. The tasks are specific and simple. The place has an excellent location, making it very easy to get to know the hostel and its culture. The small meetings with the staff and the conversations between guests made the experience the best it could be. Thanks to the team and Class for this excellent experience.

Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience! From day one, Claas, Melissa, and Joaquín were incredibly kind and welcoming. The vibe at the hostel is super friendly, and it was easy to connect with travelers from all over. The tasks were generally well organized, and we appreciated how clearly the shifts were communicated. Some days were a bit more full-on, so having an extra volunteer during peak times could definitely help. We'd absolutely love to come back one day and recommend this opportunity to anyone looking to be part of a fun, lively hostel environment!
