Dettagli del programma
As mentioned in the "Experience" section, volunteers are key members of the project; the activities undertaken will be based on the outcome of our discussions and will evolve according to both your wishes and the project's possibilities.
We remain, of course, very open to the conclusions of these discussions and the decisions that will be made. The most important thing is that we reach a consensus and ensure everyone’s satisfaction, in line with the Worldpackers community's goal : building a network of enriching experiences for all.
Through this project, I aim to create a space for healing and natural wellness on my land, located 2 km from the village of Barusjahe, which features a river, a waterfall, a sacred spring, and hills, all set within the forest. This space would showcase the village's medicinal knowledge, primarily through the cultivation of medicinal herbs, many of which grow naturally on the property. I also plan to create areas for meditation and wellness, as well as camping facilities either in designated campsites or in huts.
So far, working with previous volunteers, we have set up the first campsite near the river (with bamboo hut on the opposite side) and created meditation spots, such as one inside a cave and another near the waterfall. We also have a large hut that can serve as a meeting point where, in the future, we could hold classes on medicinal herbs. Finally, we have developed a wellness area featuring a medicinal herbal steam bath and a small sleeping hut.
We have many more ideas we would love to share with you to get your feedback and bring this project to life together.
Thank you for your trust.
Attività e turni
During your volunteer placement, activities will be selected through our discussions and your preferences. For example, you might prepare planting beds, grow medicinal plants, build shelters, maintain the grounds, or develop the river area as well as meditation zones, caves, and waterfalls.
Schedules and days off are flexible depending on the work to be done, but generally involve five hours of work per day with two days off per week.
The site is also available just for camping and enjoying it. If you want more information or book it, contact me at +62 813-7547-5458
