Spent a great 2 weeks with the team at the hostel! Kassy is a great host with clear communication. The staff at the hostel are welcoming, friendly and a treat to be around. Work hours are respected, hostel is in a great area as well. My experience here helped me fall in love with the hostel. Definitely recommend for a social butterfly who is keen to get stuck in!

Being a rep at the hostel was one of the best best experiences I had while travelling!! The whole with Benny, Sayon, Harri, Kassy Daniel and Clau truly felt like my family away from home! Was so sad to leave but would 100% recommend anyone to volenteer here!!

Kassy is a very friendly and fun host, and it was a pleasure to work alongside her. The location and atmosphere are also lovely. However, I found the guest demographic of predominantly groups of men older than me challenging as a young girl, especially combined with the long 48 hour weeks (though I was informed about these beforehand). However though it wasn't quite right for me it was a fabulous opportunity I really appreciate! the hostel is a truly fun place to be with wonderful guests and workers alike :)

My experience at the hostel was something I'll always remember. Kassy communicated well, shared the passion and listened when I shared concerns. I spent 5 weeks with Kassy and the team and what a privilege to surround myself with such kind individuals. Hours were respected and adjusted when requested and the benefits made it worth it! I needed a lot of downtime in between the very social hours and felt respected in doing so. This opportunity enabled me to work on my social skills and connections with people from all over the world. Thank you Kassy and the Team at the hostel SR

This was an amazing experience, the team are super friendly and always helpful. Kassy the manager is exactly the same and always helped me if I needed anything. The work is very straightforward and ideal for anyone who's social and isn't afraid of talking to new people. I couldn't recommend this enough. 🙌🏻

The hostel's atmosphere is very social and it's a great place to meet people from all over the world. If you're looking for the experience of working as a rep at a the hostel, then this is for you. However, note the work schedule is 48 hours per week with only one day off, leaving no time to explore the city. Also, you can only join tours if you get 12 guests to sign up, which was unfortunate since I had guests sign up for a tour on my day off, but in the end I wasn't able to go. Because of this, I decided to leave early as I was hoping to experience the hostel outside of the hostel.

I had a positive experience. The Cambodian team was welcoming, kind, and helpful, which made the work much lighter and more enjoyable. The hostel has a vibrant and social atmosphere, and the food is excellent. Kassy is nice and always have good ideias. But, the 48-hour work week is quite intense for volunteer work.
