Je viens de passer le meilleur été chez l hostel ! Booking a woman-only hostel was definitely the best decisions. I really appreciated the way the work was organized: the workload was fair, the managers were flexible, and we had a lot of freedom when it came to organizing events and creating social media content. But most importantly, it was an incredible human experience in such a welcoming and fun environment. Meeting guests from all over the world every day, sharing the experience with other volunteers, and being supported by such a kind reception team made the whole experience really special 🌟

L'auberge était un excellent environnement et j'ai vraiment apprécié mon temps là-bas! L'équipe était tellement accueillante et chaleureuse, toujours prête à aider les bénévoles avec toute question. Le travail était amusant, surtout les événements du soir avec les invités, et les heures de travail hebdomadaires étaient toujours respectées.

Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé une excellente expérience de bénévolat. Le meilleur aspect était sans aucun doute les gens que j'ai rencontrés; je me suis fait des amis incroyables avec les autres bénévoles, et Ashley et Brandy à la réception ont toujours été si gentils, accueillants et serviables. La charge de travail m'a globalement semblé équitable, bien que nous n'ayons pas obtenu les deux jours de congé indiqués sur la plateforme, et il se peut que vous soyez parfois contacté(e) pendant votre jour de repos. En tant que voyageuse solo, personnellement je ne me suis pas sentie très en sécurité dans la région, il y a eu quelques incidents de sécurité à cause de l'emplacement de l'auberge qui m'ont fait me sentir en danger, surtout la nuit au travail.

L’auberge est belle, la chambre des bénévoles est super confortable, et le travail lui-même est vraiment agréable — que ce soit à l'accueil, pour organiser des événements ou pour le contenu des réseaux sociaux ✨ J'ai rencontré tellement de personnes incroyables pendant mon séjour, et un grand merci à Jascy, Ricardo, Brandy et aux autres bénévoles avec qui j'ai partagé l'expérience 💕 Il y a eu quelques soucis avec la chambre et certaines situations qui auraient pu être mieux gérées avec une communication plus claire, mais dans l'ensemble je suis vraiment reconnaissant pour l'expérience et pour toutes les belles personnes que j'ai eu la chance de rencontrer xx 💐

I'm incredibly grateful for this experience! This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers, and everything went so nicely. The female-only hostel environment is amazing, and the team was always kind and communicative. The workload was fair and well-balanced, giving me plenty of free time to explore the city and enjoy my stay. All tasks were clearly explained and easy to manage, and I especially appreciated the creative freedom we had when it came to organizing events and creating content. I had a really lovely experience volunteering here! The work exchange was well-structured with weekly feedback that kept everything clear and organized. I enjoyed being able to suggest and host our own events and also contribute to social media since it was a fun way to be creative and strengthen my event management skills. The volunteers' room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I'm grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers looking for a great work exchange in Amsterdam!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm glad it was here! The environment of a women-only hostel is what makes this place so special. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from the start, especially Chrystella, Rania, and Jassy, who helped me throughout my time here. I not only made great friends with other volunteers, but also had the chance to meet guests from all over the world. Overall they are very flexible with your work schedule and give you creative input on the events you want to host. I'm grateful for this opportunity, as it will always hold a special place in my heart:D
