You'll stay in a beautiful eco-glamping site, surrounded by nature for a truly immersive experience. The accommodation features comfortable shared tents with 2 or 3 single beds, allowing you to relax after a day full of activities. Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San Jose and make your way to Quepos by domestic flight or bus, where you will connect with your driver at Quepos Airport or Quepos Bus Station for a direct transfer to our glamping project. Our host, Alexander, is an Argentinian traveler who has spent the past four years in Costa Rica, drawn by its natural beauty, surf culture, and sustainable lifestyle. With a background in hospitality and entrepreneurship, he created this project as a way to give back to nature and the local community. The land where the glamping site now stands was once deforested for banana plantations, harming biodiversity. Today, Alexander is on a mission to restore the area, create local job opportunities, and build a space where travelers can connect with nature and each other. Inspired by The Lord of the Rings, he named the project La Comarca, a peaceful haven where people live in harmony with their surroundings. His goal is to not only be a great host but to offer an experience that leaves a lasting impact on both travelers and the environment.
